MOVIE WITH JOHN LLOYD & KC: WILL THERE BE SPARKS?

HOW true is it that ABS-CBN is lukewarm to the idea of co-producing a movie with GMA Films that will launch the Richard Gutierrez-KC Concepcion love team? We heard that ABS wants to do a movie, pairing KC with John Lloyd Cruz instead. This early then, they should brace themselves for publicity slants saying John Lloyd was a former boyfriend of KC's aunt, Ciara Sotto, the cousin of her mom, Sharon Cuneta, and they had a bitter parting with the rumor that John Lloyd treated Ciara shabbily. Whether they like it or not, we're sure this bit of information will be dragged into the movie.
As of now, we really can't think of anyone at ABS who might be paired with KC and be warmly accepted by the public, although we must admit KC had good chemistry with Derek Ramsey when they were paired in "Maalaala Mo Kaya." The problem is that Derek is so identified with Angelica Panganiban, in the same way that John Lloyd is so identified with Bea Alonzo. KC also can't be paired with Piolo Pascual as he's much older. One alternative would be Luis Manzano, who's only about four years older than her. And why not? The daughter of the megastar paired with the son of the Star for All Seasons, Vilma Santos. It doesn't seem like an impractical idea, right?

Bea and Mico already separated...if you watch Bea's interview posted above.. Bea didnt answer Boy Abunda directly when he asked her, " How is your heart today?" but her actions speaks for itself...
She's happy being single right now and it shows..

Definitely, no year would be complete without the country's best-selling entertainment magazine's list of the most beautiful, the most popular, and the most favorite celebrities of the year as voted by its readers. YES! magazine's April 2008 issue does just that.
Leading the favorites list are Maricel Soriano and Piolo Pascual, as Favorite Actress and Favorite Actor of the year, respectively. The readers chose Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos as Favorite Real-Life Sweethearts and their 2006 Metro Manila Film Festival box-office hit Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo for Favorite Movie of the Year.
ABS-CBN's Maging Sino Ka Man gets the Favorite TV Show, Drama award, while GMA-7's Super Twins gets the majority of the readers' vote for Favorite TV Show, Fantasy-Adventure. Two more Kapuso shows get the Favorite TV Show awards from the readers: Boys Nxt Door for the Youth Oriented category and StarStruck: The Next Level for the Reality/Games category.
YES! magazine's April cover story has KC Concepcion voted by the readers as the Most Beautiful Celebrity, while Richard Gutierrez, who has been rumored to be courting her, gets the Most Handsome Celebrity and Most Fashionable Young Male Celebrity awards. Richard's ex-girlfriend Anne Curtis is voted Most Fashionable Young Female Celebrity award.
Expectant mom Jennylyn Mercado is the readers' choice as Young Female Superstar and Celebrity Home of the Year. John Lloyd Cruz on the Kapamilya side is chosen Young Male Superstar. The readers love John Lloyd with Bea Alonzo, hence their love team is voted as the Most Popular Love Team.
Kapuso dream boy Dennis Trillo's condo gets the readers' nod for Celebrity Condo of the Year. Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez's admission of their relationship for the readers is hands-down the most talked about story in showbiz last year, that's why they were given the Scene Stealers of the Year award.
Kapamilya's cute pair Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu gets the Next Big Male Star and Next Big Female Star awards, respectively. The readers'choice for Band of the Year and Band Song of the Year are Bamboo with their album We Stand Alone and "Akin Ka Na Lang" by the Itchyworms from their album Noontime Show, respectively.

Hi Marissa. Still going strong although mico is not actively involved in showbiz, pero it is good for their relationship......

yeah they really have this incredible onscreen chemistry.. imagine being together for more than 6 years with 5 straight teleseryes & 5 movies.. all top rating.. they were the only ones who survived it all.. while the other fell. Tried & Tested indeed.
Yes, they already broke up.(maybe late last year or early this year. no one knows) Actually, i think it was a get together w/ her fans that they first knew about it. She was asked how is her lovelife. She said she was happy with her freedom. Of course, A lot of Labers (Lloydie& BEa fans) out there are truly ecstatic about the new. And their tag-line "HOPE FLOATS!"

looks like there are a lot of bea and jlc fan out there. many i presume that would love if bea and jlc are together in real life. sad for bea that she broke off but then at least she is enjoying herself and making new teleseryes. |

i agree with u, they r really strong i think it is because they r not lovers (i think). Most of other loveteam will end up with each other but once they broke up i dont think they can work 2gether like before. I think bei and lloydy can be this successful is because they love each other as a friend. BUT i'm still hanging on the tag-line "HOPE FLOATS" for sure!! |
