Forummers…pls allow me to vent, not abt kepams but scammer too. I was contacted by a friend who live in Hawaii asking for assistance. Her very good friend’s daughter was scammed by quite a high profile individual in msia to come n work with a logistics company in UK, based in Manchester. This girl is 25yrs old was really excited with the prospect of coming to work in UK parted £3k in-order to secure the job. So she arrived london abt 4 days ago, tried to contact the guy who promised her the job but could not get him n uncontactable. Now tis girl is stranded, with no money n only 1 way ticket bought. My friend has asked me to helped tis girl, so last night i was busy trying to assist this girl. M like u are 25yrs old, stories of scammers can be read almost daily. Why was it when tis guy asked u to part £3k it didn’t raise suspicions at all? Rupa2 nyer high profile person tu yg dia percaya. Ada konco kat UK rupanya. Atm tis girl is staying with a total stranger n she has to leave by tomorrow. I tak bleh accommodate her bcos my house is under renovations n 2 rooms are fully occupied with my stuffs n the available room i have is my girl’s bedroom n she is coming back on Sunday. So skang ni m seeking my friend's advice here in London on how to help tis stranded girl. Her mum will only be able to save enough money for her return flight in about 2 week’s time frame.
Goodness me…scammers everywhere, yg ni high profile lagi. M asking tis girl to reveal tis scammer’s name but i also told her to be careful.
I pun takut jugak nak tolong bcos she is a total stranger to me as well. Yer lah my good friend yg kenal tis girl’s mum.
So sorry for ranting here. |

She tak dpt the working visa yet but asked to fly to UK n they will get the visa when she is here. How could someone be so gullible ek? I just spoke to her on the phone. Duit nak makan pun dah nak abis. Good to buy sandwiches till sunday. I will try n get her some food later today inshaAllah. Cantik betul budak ni. |
