"The Stranger Beside Me" refers to both a 1980 book and a 2003 made-for-TV movie, both based on the true crime story of serial killer Ted Bundy, as seen through the eyes of author Ann Rule, who was his friend and colleague. The movie, titled "Ann Rule Presents: The Stranger Beside Me", stars Billy Campbell as Bundy and Barbara Hershey as Rule.
