why? simply by reading the Quran. the Quran is a true miracle. not only as a religious guidance, it also documents scientific facts (not dicovered hundreds of years later), great histories, prophecies that becomes realities; & mostly -- when you understand its true meanings, it can make you weep thinking of your sins, make you strive to do good & guide you to a good life.

when Islam made me become a better person, guiding me in life, that's when I realised, Islam is the true religion.

evidently, the Quran has also guided many people worldwide. moez masoud, yvonne ridley etc.. it made a once non-muslim, British journalist, Yvonne Ridley realised how mistaken the anti-Islam propagandas are. captured by the Taliban, yet she converted to Islam, willingly wear the hijab, & said "I see the shocking images of Guantanamo Bay and ... I thank Allah I was captured by the most evil and brutal regime in the world and not by the Americans.".

ok, you might not believe in Islam, or the Quran. it's up to you. i'm not here to force it on you. but to me, the Quran is a true miracle. if only one would want to understand it's true guidance, one would know it's wonderful pleasures.

last time as i remembered, i have this argument with truth or debmey about bible. it seems that bible is a collection of stories from many ppl. mmmm.... how you authenticate the stories then? many ppl are liars, no doubt that bible story tellers might be liars too. thus, how you authenticate bible then?

as for quran, as you read along, there's only 1 entity who tell all the stories: the Almighty. no peter the carpenter, no david the king... bla bla.

so what we wanna believe in, the words of God or the words of many liars? :bgrin:

-Jesus of the Bible was NOT on the cross for longer than six (6) hours -- NOT three days -- (from the 3rd to the 9th hour) [Mk 15:25 & 15:33]  
-Jesus of the Bible did not spend three days and nights in the tomb -- Friday night - until Sunday before dawn -- is not 3 days and nights!
-Jesus DID NOT claim to be God - or even equal to God!

3:54 Behold! Allah Said: "O Isa! I shall cause you to die  and I shall exalt you towards me and I shall  clear you of those who reject Faith, and I am going to make  those who follow you above those who reject Faith - until the day of Awakening. Then towards Me is your return, so that I shall decide among you as to in which you used to differ.

Verse 4:157-158 from Surah An-Nisa' are the other two verses often analyzed to prove that Jesus(pbuh) did not die.  Let us examine to see if the contention is valid one or a corrupt analysis.
In the verse 4:157-158, Allah says:
  4:157  And (because of) their saying: "Surely we have killed the Masih, - 慖sa, son of Mar-yam" the Rasul of Allah, and they could not murder him, nor could they kill him by crucifixion, but he was made to resemble to them. And verily those who differ regarding him are certainly in a doubt about him. They have no knowledge about it but are merely following a guess; and they could not kill him for certain;

1.we muslims believe he is still alive and he will assist our waited Imam Mahdi to battle the ANTICHRIST(dajal) in the end of days.

2) the verse means that Allah is the one who created Jesus, only he CAN end his life. not the jews, not the cross, not the nails..not the crown thorns..without His permission, nothing can end his life
