President Halla Tómasdóttir of Iceland and her spouse, Björn Skúlason, are making a State Visit to Sweden from May 6 to 8, 2025, at the invitation of the King. On May 6, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted a gala dinner at the Royal Palace in Stockholm in honor of the Icelandic President and her spouse. Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine, and Chris O’Neill were also in attendance.

Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are undertaking an official visit to Japan at the request of the Swedish Government. On October 11, the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel arrived on Naoshima Island. On October 12, they visited the Naoshima New Museum of Art and Go'o Shrine. Later that day, the Crown Princess Couple also visited Teshima Island. The Couple will travel to Hiroshima and participate in ceremonies at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park on October 13
