Weather

Today's lesson will be a slight deviation from yesterday.
We are learning how to express weather condition today.

When we talk about weather in Spanish, we have to employ the verb hacer (literally means to do or to make).
This word hacer is often used to describe the weather.

縃ola, c髆o esta usted?
Muy buen, no?
Excelente.
Hoy, vamos a continuar con nuestra lecci髇 con - verbo.

(Hello, how are you?
Very good?
Excellent. Today, we are going to continue with our lesson with - verb.)

Spanish infinitives are divided into two parts: the ending and the stem. The ending is the last two letters. Remember, all infinitives end in -ar, -er, or -ir. The stem is everything that's left after you remove the ending.

  • habl + ar = hablar
  • com + er = comer
  • viv + ir = vivir

For today's lesson we will learn the infinitive that ends with ar

yo hablo (hablar - ar + o = hablo) can mean
    I speak
    I am speaking
    I do speak

Btw, you can also drop the word yo, so you can just say hablo which also has the same meaning.
