Burgenland 2 Arsenal 10

CARLOS VELA blasted a hat-trick but was still outshone by Arsenal team-mate Nicklas Bendtner.

Vela's first goals for the Gunners gave an exciting glimpse of the 19-year-old Mexican's talent.

But Bendtner hit four in just 23 minutes as Arsene Wenger's men cruised to victory in this third visit to Ritzing in five years.

Jack Wilshere put the visitors on their way in the first minute.

Vela and Bendtner then took over before Wilshere struck his second and Theo Walcott made it double figures.

Junuz Foric and Alexander Martna replied for the Burgenland XI.
