Eventhough Kim Bum fainted only a few days ago, the boy is still moreconcerned about the welfare of others, saying “I’ll be responsible forDream team’s health.”
During Dream filming at Cheon An on the13th of August, Kim Bum surprised Joo Jin Mo, Park Sang Won, Son DamBi, Oh Dal Su, and around 100 staff with a samgyetang (ginseng chickensoup) treat.
Staff members expressed, “Thanks to our Jang Seok,we were able to maintain our health on Malbok. We were very tiredbecause of the hot weather, but now we’re energized again.”
KimBum said, “There are many action scenes in Dream, and its tough foreveryone. I asked myself, ‘What would be the best present for a hotsummer?’, and thought of samgyetang. Coincidentally, its also Malbok,which makes it even more meaningful.” (Laughs) “Watching everyone eatdeliciously, hearing them say that they feel rejuvenated, and seeingtheir happy images makes me energized too. Even though the weather issultry and hot, I will work hard to show the audience a better side ofme.”
[Translation note: Its a tradition for Koreans to eatsamgyetang during sambok, the three hottest days of summer - chobok(beginning), jungbok (middle) and malbok (last).]

Kim Bum has fainted again due to having a busy schedule.
Eventhough the ratings for “Dream” have not been satisfactory, the maincast has been working night and day to finish filming. However, due tothe over exhaustion, Kim Bum fainted on the 13th, and was taken to thehospital.
Kim Bum’s character is a Mixed Martial Arts fighter,and therefore there are a lot of training and fighting scenes. Whilefilming on the 13th, Kim Bum lost consciousness all of a sudden, andwas taken to the hospital for treatment immediately. Even after heregained consciousness, he could not stop vomiting, and the doctoradvised that he should rest more. After being discharged from thehospital, Kim Bum returned to the set and begged Baek Soo Chan PD andscriptwriter Jung Hyung Soo to continue filming. Kim Bum has alwaysbeen a very hardworking actor, but this was very difficult for thedirecting team. After discussion, the director allowed Kim Bum to filma short scene and end his activities for the rest of day.
AfterKim Bum recovered, he brought samgyetang as presents for everyone. Hesaid that even though he worked hard, the staff has also put in a lotof effort. Kim Bum bought 100 servings of samgyetang for actors Joo JinMo, Park Sang Won, Son Dam Bi, Oh Dal Soo and other staff, makingeveryone feel very touched by his actions.

Actors Kim Bum and Yoon Sang Hyun were appointed ambassadors for the Korean Drama Festival.
Duringthe event Kim Bum is attending on October 12th, named “Asia Stars’Night – Boys Over Flowers Special”, he will introduce memorable scenesfrom “Boys Over Flowers” with his drama partner Kim So Eun (as Chu GaEul). There are also plans to include the main cast from the Korean,Taiwanese, and Japanese remakes of “Boys Over Flowers”.

Kim Beom as PR ambassador for Korea Drama Festival
Theorganizing committee of the Korea Drama Festival has named actors YoonSang-hyeon and Kim Beom as PR ambassadors for the 2009 Korea DramaFestival, which is slated for October 1-15 in Jinju, South GyeongsangProvince. Yoon played "Heo Tae-jun" in "My Wife is a Superwoman" whileKim played "So Yi-jung" in "Boys over Flowers".
The two actorswill publicize the Korea Drama Festival on various shows and will visitJinju during the festival to meet with TV drama fans.
Yoon,whose popularity has soared since his appearance in "My Wife is aSuperwoman", will attend the screening of the drama's famous scenes onOctober 13 along with Seon Woo-seon, who played his partner in thedrama. He will also tell the audience behind-the-scene stories aboutthe drama.
KimBeom and his drama partner Kim So-eun, who played "Chu Ga-eul" in "Boysover Flowers", will attend the Asia Star Night - Boys over FlowersSpecial" on October 12 to tell interesting stories about the drama andscreen its famous scenes.
The2009 Korea Drama Festival will kick off October 11 for a five-day runand will include various ancillary events. The main events will be heldat the Gyeongnam Culture & Art Hall in Chilam-dong, Jinju.
Theorganizing committee will hold the 2009 Korea Drama Awards, the AsiaStar Night - Boys over Flowers Special and the 4th Next-generationActor Competition.
At the regular meeting of the board ofdirectors back in March, former Executive Committee Director KangYong-shik became the director of the organizing committee, while LeeSun-jae was appointed to the post of vice director. Former ViceDirector Chang Han-seong now heads the Executive Committee.
