AC of HOT 102.7 has learned that J. COLE has been added to Beyonce’s Official Remix to Party. J. COLE touched down in Michigan Friday Ocotober 7th to get up with BEYONCE to shoot the video for the remix to PARTY. The video is currently in production in Britton, Michigan. No word as of yet if anyone else jumps on the Beyonce Party Remix.
Two of the biggest voices in music are coming together. Mary J. Blige and Beyoncé have recorded a duet for Mary’s 10th studio album.
The song, entitled “Loving a Woman,” will appear on My Life II… The Journey Continues (Act I), Rap-Up.com has exclusively learned. The R&B divas have remained fans and friends throughout the years, but this marks their first major collaboration.
Beyoncé isn’t the only guest on the sequel to Mary’s My Life. The highly-anticipated project is set to feature collaborations with Nas and Rick Ross, and production from Danja, Jerry Wonda, Stargate, and Swizz Beatz, among others.
A video for the first single “25/8” will premiere in mid-October. The second single “Mr. Wrong,” produced and written by Jim Jonsin and Rico Love, will follow prior to the album’s release on November 21.
The children of the King of Pop, who died from a drug overdose at the age of 50 on June 25 2009, introduced a performance by Beyonce, who appeared via videolink from the United States to play the Jackson Five hit I Wanna Be Where You Are.
As they stood on stage, dressed as various incarnations of their father's stage persona, they were greeted by tumultuous applause.
Introducing Beyonce, Paris said: "She is always pushing the envelope with her boundless energy and talent.
"She carries the torch lit by our father and it gives me great pleasure to introduce this woman."
Beyonce, who wore her hair in a Jackson Five-style afro, revealed that the song she sang was the first song she performed with her former group Destiny's Child.
