That's the problem with the FA Cup. You can have two Premier League teams battling out but you can still be gifted a referee deemed not good enough for the Premier League. A referee like dear old Uriah, who's only been allowed three top flight games all season.
Uriah hasn't been seen around The Bridge for a while, and while the official line is "it's because he had a hamstring injury", rumour (Wikipedia based / hence probably untrue rumour) is he failed an FA fitness test.
The 48 year old former Magistrate from Sheffield is also a kick boxing and aikido master and might well slam Heskey's head off, or crush Alex in a Rennie death grip if they get out of hand. |
