Forbes Top-Earning Musicians list of 2010 has just named Britney Spears as the fifth highest earner over the past 12 months, raking in £41.8m.
So it’s no surprise that the wealthy pop star, 28, decided to go on a shopping spree in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.
The troubled singer looked fresh faced in a white linen dress but couldn’t decide whether to wear her wedge heels or flip flops, so changed throughout the day out.

HollywoodNews.com: Britney Spears isn’t even on the radar right now, but she still continues to sell records. Lady Gaga might be the hottest thing on the market right now, but it will be a while before she surpasses Spears.
The Recording Industry Association of America has announced that Spears has officially sold over 100 million records, making her the best selling artist of the 2000’s, according to Hollyscoop. In addition, she is the fifth overall artist to join the charts of Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey who have also sold over 100 million albums.
Spears sold more than 28 million copies of her debut album, “Baby One More Time,” and has sold over 20 million copies with her second album, “Oops!… I Did It Again.” |

Gaga and Britney are both leading front runners on respective social networking sites. After overtaking Ashton Kutcher to become the numero uno on Twitter, Britney Spears has spearheaded in the race of fan followers.
And, now, Lady Gaga has raced ahead in the Facebook kingdom where she is the most followed celeb. Having elbowed past the US President Barack Obama, the Poker Face singer is close to garnering 10 million fans. Obama is slightly behind with 9.4 million followers.
"Any moment, Lady Gaga is set to become the first living person to achieve 10m (million) fans on Facebook or, indeed, on any single social network," Famecount.com (a British group that calculates online popularity) reveals.
However, Gaga still lacks behind the Moon Walker as the late Michael Jackson has as many as 14 million Facebook fans. And guess who has crosses the 20 million mark? It’s the online game Texas Poker. |
