Cerita utk pinguin
Penguin sangat perhatian kepada anak. Penguin mengerami telurnya selama musim dingin. Penguin betina hanya bertelur satu butir. Telur itu kemudian dierami oleh penguin jantan. Sedangkan, penguin betina kembali ke laut dan tidak kembali selama empat bulan.
Selama mengerami, penguin jantan harus menghadapi badai kutub dan tidak makan. Sebab, sumber makanan sangat jauh, akibat makin luasnya gletser pada musim dingin. Sementara itu, penguin jantan tidak dapat begitu saja meninggalkan telur itu hanya sekadar untuk mencari makan.
Saking sayangnya pada calon anaknya itu, penguin jantan rela kehilangan setengah berat badannya karena tidak makan demi kelahiran anaknya. Sebuah pengorbanan yang sangat besar dari seorang ayah penguin.
Setelah empat bulan, barulah telur itu mulai menetas. Pada saat telur menetas, penguin betina tiba-tiba muncul, dan akan menghampiri anaknya. Waktu empat bulan selama pergi, dimanfaatkan penguin betina untuk mengumpulkan makanan. Kemudian, tugas pun beralih. Sekarang, giliran penguin betina mengurus anaknya.
Saat musim semi tiba, gletser mulai mencair. Lubang-lubang mulai bermunculan di tengah bongkahan es sehingga ada jalan menuju laut. Pasangan induk penguin ini pun mulai berburu mencari makanan.
Memberi makan si bayi adalah tugas yang berat. Kadang-kadang pasangan induk penguin tidak makan dalam waktu lama demi memberi makan sang anak. Saat udara sangat dingin, induk penguin menjaga anaknya dengan meletakkannya di atas kaki mereka, dan menghangatkannya dengan perut mereka.
Mengapa penguin bertelur pada musim dingin dan bukan musim panas? Salah satu alasannya adalah jika bertelur pada musim panas, perkembangan anaknya akan berlangsung pada musim dingin. Pada saat itu laut membeku sehingga semakin sulit mencari makanan.
Petang tadi dengar ustaz criter pasal pengorbanan pinguin kat radio. Tp bukan kisah nie la , nak crite tak reti
