Macross Frontier Vocal Collection Album: Nyan Tama sold 86,450 copies to rank #2 in the most recent Oricon weekly album sales chart for Japan. This is the third Macross Frontier album in a row to rank in the top three. The first Macross Frontier soundtrack had sold 72,000 copies in its first week to rank #3 in June, which had made it the first anime album in 11 years to reach the top three. The second Macross Frontier soundtrack had sold 102,000 copies in its first week in October
