He was plagued by drug dependency rumours at the beginning of the year.

But Macaulay Culkin proved that he was doing just fine as he hit the shops to get the last of his Christmas gifts on Saturday, despite starting the day by eating alone at Taco Bell.

The Home Alone star cut a solitary figure as he wandered around New York, before stopping off at the Mexican restaurant to tuck into a tasty lunch.

The star dispelled any rumours that he was undernourished by stopping off at the fast food restaurant as soon as he got into town, buying a hefty meal and sitting on his own to eat it.

After re-fueling, the 32-year-old set about hitting the shops, as did many other New Yorkers in the run up to Christmas Day.

As a Hollywood A-lister you might expect her to have her groceries delivered.

But it seems that Kirsten Dunst wanted to pick up her own shopping ahead of Christmas Day this year, as she arrived at her parents' LA house laden down with bags filled with food on Saturday.

The 30-year-old actress was clearly gearing up for a festive few days with her family, as she helped mother Inez carry armfuls of bags into their home in preparation for the big day.

The Cloud Atlas star was spotted arriving with her French fiance at Los Angeles International airport without the four-year-old child where they caught a transatlantic flight to Paris. A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the 46-year-old actress is eager to celebrate a low key holiday following Olivier's highly-publicized physical fight with Canadian model Gabriel, 36, on Thanksgiving morning last month.

The insider also revealed that while Nahla is going to spend a few days with her father, she will fly to France to join her mother and Olivier with her nanny in a few days time.

Halle allegedly wanted to move with her daughter to France because her actor fiance Olivier Martinez wants to leave the US, but a judge blocked her bid to relocate, which increased tension between her and Gabriel before they came to an amicable agreement after his fight with Olivier, 46.
