This definitely isn't what a girl wants! Amanda Bynes found herself in big trouble on the morning of April 6 when the BMW she was driving clipped the back of a cop car. Bynes was promptly arrested and transported to the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, where she was booked for DUI. Early reports said her bail was set at $5,000. But TMZ later confirmed that the actress was released from jail at 10:30 a.m. the same day.

That '70s Show's troubled star, Lisa Robin Kelly (who played Topher Grace's older sis Laurie) was arrested on April 1 for causing "corporal injury upon a spouse." This isn't the first arrest for the 42-year-old actress, who was arrested back in 2010 for a DUI. We sure wish Kelly's latest arrest had been an April Fool's Joke!

Funnyman Russell Brand definitely isn't laughing here! The actor-comedian was arrested and released on a $5,000 bail in March 2012 after hurling a photographer's phone through a window. TMZ reported that Brand, who was in New Orleans for a movie, was charged with two misdemeanor counts for criminal damage. Katy Perry's ex later got in the last word, while sticking true to his comedic personality. "Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iphone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory," he twittered on March 14.

Blame it on the Giants and the Patriots! Country star Randy Travis was arrested in Sango, Texas, on Feb. 6 and charged with suspicion of public intoxication, following what he called "an evening of celebrating the Super Bowl." While the Giants went home with the victory (they beat the Pats 21-17 in the Feb. 5 game), Travis ended up 20 miles from his home, reportedly drunk, disoriented and imbibing straight from a bottle of wine in front of a church. Police found the "Honky Tonk Moon" crooner there and transported him to the local jail, where he grinned for their cameras. Guess he's a Giants fan.

Another year, another mug shot for Lindsay Lohan. Only a scant 13 months after she was last put behind bars, the 25-year-old starlet had her probation revoked because she was not fulfilling her court-ordered community service or therapy sessions. She didn't have a very long stay though -- after only four hours in an L.A. jail on Nov. 6, Lohan was released. This time around, if she doesn't meet her obligations to the state of California, she will end up facing an addition 270-day jail sentence. Let's hope she doesn't collect a sixth mug shot before she turns 26!

It's impressive that, despite his many trials and tribulations with drugs and assault, Charlie Sheen has only been arrested once. Unfortunately for him (but fortunately for all you gossip-loving readers), that one arrest was probably messy enough to last him a lifetime. While celebrating Christmas in Aspen, Colo., Sheen, 46, was charged with assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller (who is dealing with a recent arrest of her own) and faced some serious jail time in 2009. Sentenced with rehab instead of prison, Sheen ended up losing his wife (temporarily?), his publicist and his job in the process of his meltdown, while the world gained a plethora of Sheen-penned catchphrases that will live in infamy.

Nearly two years after her terrifying Christmas day fight with then-husband Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller was arrested for cocaine possession and assault. On Dec. 2, the 34-year-old was taken into custody in Aspen, Colo., after a woman identified her as her assailant. Mueller, who is the mother of Sheen's 2-year-old twins Bob and Max, was reportedly bailed out by her ex-hubby (and sometimes-boyfriend), who fronted the $11,000 bail. She is set to be back in court on Dec. 19, and will allegedly not lose custody of her boys, regardless of the outcome of the charges. We'll go ahead and say it....poor kids.

Looking pretty remorseful, Mel Gibson had nothing to smile about when he posed for this mug shot in March 2011. While he already had a previous arrest under his belt for a DUI bust in 2006, he added a misdemeanor battery charge to his record this spring for allegedly assaulting Oksana Grigorieva, his ex-girlfriend and mother to his 2-year-old daughter Lucia. The 55-year-old actor and director pleaded no contest to the charge and was sentenced to three years probation. Despite the bad blood, the former couple did settle the custody battle over their little girl amicably.

Sometimes life imitates art, and in 2010 it ended up not working out for the best for Chace Crawford. The 26-year-old Gossip Girl star, who always ends up getting up to no good on the hit CW show, was arrested in his home state of Texas for carrying less than two ounces of marijuana -- and he didn't look too proud of himself in his mug shot. He was booked in the city of Plano on the misdemeanor charge, but ended up cutting a deal in April -- if he sticks to the parameters of his probation through April 2012, then his record will be wiped clean. Just what would Serena van der Woodsen have thought about that!

It should come as no surprise to the general public that sexy Texan Matthew McConaughey partakes in a little cannabis in the privacy of his own home. What may come as a shock, though, is that he has a penchant for playing bongo drums very loudly in the wee hours of the morning while stark naked. That likely wasn't what Austin police expected to see when they responded to a noise complaint at McConaughey's house in 1999. The drug charges were eventually dropped, but the then-30-year-old Lincoln Lawyer star did end up having to pay a $50 fine for breaking Austin's noise ordinance.

At least Heather Locklear seemed upset about her 2008 arrest in this mug shot -- that, or she was very effected by the drugs she was using while driving. Police pulled Locklear over in Los Angeles after receiving a call that she was driving erratically. The then-47-year-old actress was charged with driving under the influence of prescription drugs, and pleaded no contest a few months later to a charge of reckless driving. The judge agreed to drop the DUI charge, but Locklear was fined and sentenced to three years of informal probation, which was almost violated when she was involved in a hit-and-run in 2010. Locklear was arrested for running over a no-parking sign and fleeing the scene, but the star was not formally charged.

There was no getting out of this one! When British dreamboat Hugh Grant was caught in the act with a hooker named Divine Brown in Hollywood in 1995, the news was splashed everywhere. He was arrested and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor lewd conduct charge because, at that point, how could he do anything other than fess up. The then 35-year-old actor was put on probation for two years and then forced to pay a fine of $1,180 and complete an AIDS education program. Needless to say, Grant's then-honey Elizabeth Hurley, whom he started dating in 1987, was none too pleased, though the couple stuck it out for five more years.

Bad behavior was in the air this summer when Lohan's ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson was arrested in August for driving under the influence near Baker, Calif. She was charged with two misdemeanors and sentenced to six months in prison. The 34-year-old DJ didn't look too broken up over it in her mug shot, instead she sported a cynical smirk. "She was friendly and talkative," an officer said in a post-arrest interview. "She was cooperative throughout the whole ordeal." In all likelihood, Ronson will enjoy an early release from jail, just like her ex did.

If former child star Macaulay Culkin, 31, looks a little tired in this mug shot, it's likely he was hopped up on a combination of Xanax and marijuana at the time it was taken. The then-24-year-old actor was arrested back in 2004 in Oklahoma for being in possession of those two substances (he didn't have a prescription for the Xanax). Culkin was briefly jailed but was released on a $4,000 bond. After initially pleading not guilty to the arrest, Culkin switched back to guilty and got off with suspended prison terms, probationary drug treatment and a mere $540 fine.

Different blonde actress, similar story. My Name Is Earl star Jaime Pressly was arrested in January 2011 and formerly charged with a DUI. The 33-year-old actress was pulled over in Santa Monica, Calif., because of a traffic violation, but then registered a blood alcohol level of 0.22 (nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08). The arrest occurred only nine days after she formally separated from her now ex-husband, Simran Singh. In August, she pleaded guilty to the DUI charge and is receiving three years of informal probation.

The past five years haven't been the easiest for former child star Shia LaBeouf. In 2007, he spent a bit too much time at a certain Walgreens in Chicago. LaBeouf, 25, was apparently intoxicated and refused to leave the store despite being asked to many times, and was arrested by the local police department -- according to his mug shot, he didn't seem to be too torn up about the incident. The Transformers star quickly posted bail, but less than a year later he was arrested again -- this time in Los Angeles -- for drunk driving. LaBeouf escaped prosecution because the other driver was technically at fault for their accident.

Though Josh Brolin looks like one of the most smug celebrities getting a mug shot on this list, his arrest is actually one of the more justified. In July 2008, Brolin was at a bar in Shreveport, La., while filming the Oliver Stone biopic of George W. Bush, W., when some cops showed up to settle a drunk and rowdy patron. The police allege that the then-40-year-old No Country For Old Men star -- along with his costar Jeffrey Wright and five of the film's crew members -- tried to intervene, so they snapped cuffs on him and took him to the city jail. The feisty Brolin, was released after paying a $334 bond and charges were dropped six months later.

It's time to open up your eyes and smell the sweet scent of prison, Nicolas Cage! Or open them for at least as long as it takes for America's most famous bail bondsman Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman to rescue you. In April, Cage, 47, was arrested in New Orleans on charges of domestic abuse against his wife Alice Kim, disturbing the peace and public drunkenness. After he was briefly jailed, Dog showed up to post Cage's $11,000 bail. The lucky Academy Award-winning actor ended up evading prosecution for the event all together in May.

It turns out that Mischa Barton's troubled character in The O.C., Marissa Cooper, wasn't so different from her real-life persona. In December 2007, the actress was arrested only a year after she left the show that made her a star. Police caught Barton, now 25, driving under the influence with marijuana in her possession in 2007. She ended up evading jail time and paid her $10,000 bail." I was disappointed because it associated me with a group of girls that I would rather not be associated with," Barton later said of the incident. "I wanted to crawl into a hole and die."
