Meghan Markle Shares Never-Before-Seen Video Of Her Dancing With Prince Harry To Induce Labor

The Duchess of Sussex marked her daughter Lilibet’s fourth birthday by sharing a rare, lighthearted video on Instagram, offering a personal glimpse into their family life.

In the clip, Markle, 43, is seen dancing and playfully twerking to The Drake Family’s rendition of Starrkeisha’s “The Baby Momma Dance” while joined by her husband, Prince Harry. The footage was recorded shortly before Markle went into labor in 2021.

“Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work — there was only one left thing to do!” Markle wrote.

Prince Harry reflects on the day Lilibet was born in his memoir, “Spare,” noting that the experience felt easier the second time around. He and Meghan also share a son, Archie, now 6, who was delivered in England; Lilibet in California.

At the hospital, Prince Harry recalled, their bodyguards brought them “burgers and fries from In-N-Out” and “fajitas from a local Mexican restaurant for Meg.”

“We ate and ate and then did the Baby Mama dance around the hospital room,” he wrote. “Nothing but joy and love in that room.”

Harry also recounted the moment he first met his daughter, describing how the doctor invited him to assist with the delivery by gently guiding her into the world.

“I cradled her just a moment, trying to smile at her, to see her, but honestly, I couldn’t see anything,” he wrote in the book. “I wanted to say: Hello. I wanted to say: Where have you come from? I wanted to say: Is it better there? Is it peaceful? Are you frightened? Don’t be, don’t be, all will be well. I’ll keep you safe.”

On June 4, Markle wished her “beautiful girl” a happy birthday, posting two photos of Lilibet on Instagram.

“Four years ago today she came into our lives — and each day is brighter and better because of it,” she gushed. “Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
