[quote]"More Than a Woman" is an R&B song written by Steve "Static" Garrett and Tim "Timbaland" Mosley for Aaliyah's self-titled third studio album, Aaliyah (2001). It also was produced by Timbaland and incorporates uncredited elements of Syrian singer Mayada El Hennawi's composition "Alouli ansa." The song was released as the album's third North American single in fall 2001 (see 2001 in music) and the album's second single elsewhere during the first quarter of 2002 (see 2002 in music), and reached number-one on the UK Singles Chart, as well as the top 20 in Ireland and Switzerland.
"Don't Know What to Tell Ya" is about a broken relationship. The song contains an uncredited sample of "Batwans Beek" by Algerian singer Warda Al-Jazairia. In the song, Aaliyah expresses her view on how a man cannot trust his girlfriend and keeps on comparing her to his previous lover, "Don't compare me to your last one/I can't help that she was a fast one, a sassy one/I'm a classy one". "Don't Know What to Tell Ya" was another hit single for Aaliyah in Europe and Asia, peaking in the top forty in countries such as China, Ireland, and Israel. It still baffles fans today that this track was not sent to radio in the US because it is hailed by fans at the best unreleased track from I Care 4 U and it is also the only one produced by Timbaland, many US fans felt that this would have been another big pop hit for Aaliyah along the lines of "Try Again"
It is believed that Timbaland samples "Khosara" by Abdel Halim Hafez for the track's beat leading to its Middle Eastern sound, but there is quite a bit of speculation. Another artist, Hossam Ramzy, composed a song entitled, 揔husara Khusara
itulah kan. kalo dia kasi kredit takpe gak.
ni dahla kaut untung dr idea orglain, pstu tak mention langsung lagu/penyanyi asal. :kant:
tp lagu2 aaliyah tu aku tetap suka.
Lagu Madonna berjudul "Erotica" - iaitu single pertama drpd album "Erotica" (1992) mengandungi sebahagian drpd lagu "El Yom Ollika Aala Khashaba" yg dirakamkan oleh legenda Lubnan terkenal, Fairuz utk album beliau "Good Friday: Eastern Sacred Songs" (1964). Tajuk lagu tersebut jika diterjemahkan bermaksud "Today, He was hung on a piece of wood", jelas sekali merujuk kepada penyaliban Jesus.
"Erotica" - Madonna
Suara Fairuz kedengaran pada minit 3:47-4:06.
"El Yom Ollika Aala Khashaba" - Fairuz
Sekali lagi Madonna menggunakan suara Fairuz tu dlm intro video Re-Invention Tour, berlatarbelakangkan track "The Beast Within" (B-side single Justify My Love, 1990). "The Beast Within" mengandungi ayat2 drpd "Books of Revelations".
Album COADF sebenarnya agak banyak tiru lagu2 lama (I Feel Love, West End Girls, Fate, etc) but the production and the songwriting are very, very excellent. Walaupun released 2005, album tu masih segar.

Yup. Me too. Still doesn't change the fact he is genius in some way.
Loose is definitely the BEST Nelly Furtado's album by far thanks to his contribution. And Aaliyah's stuff was utterly ACE. Are You That Somebody?, We Need a Resolution and Don't Know What to Tell Ya are all first-rate R&B songs in my book.
Tell me about it. "We Need a Resolution", "Are You That Somebody?", "Don't Know What To Tell Ya", "Try Again" are one of my favourite Aaliyah songs. Mmg magnificent giler.
And you said "Loose" is Nelly Furtado BEST album? Couldn't agree more. Amazing album.
