Rogue galaxy problem??

I just bought Rogue Galaxy 2 days ago, and despite changing the disc twice, I'm still unable to load the game. The controller LED is working fine though. Just wondering if anyone encounter the same problem? Or is it just my disc?

If i'm not mistaken, the first group that rip the game only rip the first layer of data..is should be in dvd 9 format not dvd 5.

perhaps you've bought the dvd 5 version

i have the same prob,the game takes a very damn long time to load...
im sure its dvd 5 because i pay only 4 ringgit...dvd9 will cost more
i also changing the disc twice but its all the same...can play,but damn long to load,the sound lagging and freeze
maybe its because my modchip,my 3 years old ps2

Bought another copy from a different retail. Working now.

i have the dvd 5 and it's working too..tapi i think it can't be finished pasal data task complete tue..

Bought it for Rm5, should be DVD5 I guess. Currently at chapter 6, so still not sure if it's a complete ver or not.

Confirmed. My Rogue Galaxy cannot get pass chapter 7.

Already checked the torrents. Seems to me all are ripped from single layer only. Sigh.
Will play Ar tonelico in the mean time. Old school RPG is more my cup of tea.

It's not that easy just to split dvd9 game into dvd5s.Jack Sparrow's just grab any releases from the scene,pressed the dvdrom and sell it.They don't give a damn wheter the release works or not.I'm sure many tokey here received a lot of non working complaints about this game and have reported it to their "supplier".But what amazes me is,the tokey keeps on selling the non working copies although they knew that the copy is non working one.Whether the Jack Sparrow's want to release a working copies or not,it's totally up to them.Eventually they would and that maybe depends on the game popularity.Actually I've downloaded my working copy already and it should finish downloading by noon today.I will play it in my HDD though as I don't have dual layer blanks to burn it with.

Eventually they will release a better ver, depending on the situation. About filing a complaint, I don't think that's possible, at least in the legal way. We are after all paying Rm5 for the copy only........ We just keep our fingers crossed.

yep,the dvd9 version is confirmed working.Just got past the "freeze" point.

No #!! Anyway to split the game up into 2 dvd5 ???
