50 Best Firefox Extensions for Power Surfing

Pchere got a step further and compiled a list of 50 firefox extensions all neatly sorted and explained in various categories including file downloads, Privacy / Security and Web Searches.

Every extension has a short description that explains its main features. The author unfortunatly missed to mention the version those extensions require but claimed that most would work with the latest firefox version 1.5.

Aku suka Extensions spt berikut.

Reload Every (paling best sbb tak penat tangan aku tekan reload)
Fasterfox (kat dlm firefox tools dah ada ni)
Sessionsaver (restore webpages kalau mslh crashes)
Dictionary Search(tak payah type nak cari makna pkataan dlm web )

aku suker fasterfoz tu gak....n the reload....session saver tu rase cam maleh nk guner,xkn every time nk kena save sessions kot?

kalu guner opera, yg bestnyer, browser ni mmg akan open the same pg/tab yg kiter last tgk b4 kiter close opera, or even when it crashes....tu sb kengkadang lg suker opera...

Sbb e/time nk kena save le yg aku suka tu,sbb kalau ada masalah hang,tertutup browser ke,ia akan recover balik.setiap kali sblm tutup browser,aku akan clearkan website yg aku bukak,takle dia save web tu.

sebenarnya salah satu sbb aku suka opera sbb yg ko tulis ni la,selain itu opera ni page load time dia laju.Pengguna dial up patut guna ni.

jangan lupa nightly build tester! kalau extension tak dapat masuk version yang kita guna (Currently 1.5), so dengan Nightly Build Tester ni dia akan force extension to work in whatever version we are using..

betul2... opera pun ader button yg senang nk navigate btwn - show image, no image, or cached image..

ni pun, utk lajukan connection.....kalu nk laju sgt, xyah tgk gamba...

Aku nak share apa yg aku jumpa kat internet cara melajukan Firefox.Tak taula dah ada ke belum kat sini,bantai ajela. Memang ada perubahan.load pages time lebih laju drp biasa.

Here's something for broadband people that will really speed Firefox up:

(1)  Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.


(2)  Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests"  to some    number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.  


(3)   Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!

Lucky pula setakat ni guna,

StumbleUpon - ni mmg best sbb kita klik je, dia akan carikan kita apa2 je site yg selama ni kita x terfikir nak cari, atau x pernah jumpa (tapi kurang sesuai utk yg guna dial up sbb dia byk jumpa flash. Apa pun, flash yg dia jumpa so cool!)

FlashGot - tapi kena guna bersama download manager, baru leh jalan. DL speed jadi lebih laju

Aku notice ramai tak pakai Compact Menu extension. Pada aku ni salah satu extension yang penting sebab dia hide semua menu items and kalau nak access menu items tersebut, click satu small icon/button jer - result of using this extension - MORE VIEWING SPACE!
