Dan Barker VS the god of The Bible

I have noticed that they are using the term "God of the Bible" as if to differentiate the god in the Bible with other "gods" from other religions like Islam and Hinduism.
So here is the question - what is the proof that the so-called "god" in the Bible were actually "God"? What is the proof that it isn't some sort of mental creation of the so-called "Prophets" of that time?
Moses went up the Mt. Sinai and "spoke" to God, bring down proof of the meeting through the Ten Commandments. His people saw him go up the mountain, they saw him come down the mountain with the tablets and they saw Moses's physical appearance had changed drastically in a short period of time. This can be accepted that Moses had some sort of experience which did changed him physically.
But what about other so-called Prophets? What is the proof that they actually met with God or spoke with Him? |

That's a very interesting discussion. However, these people are not very close to the religion and their thoughts are on the surface. If you wanna dig down, you need to click here and read this site. There is much information from the bible and there are many really important verses which can inspire you. |
