I don't know how to paste he characters here to express my idea better.
Let's pick some simple ones:
The character "God" is fully written?
Since when the word "alive" is written in a dash?
Since when the word "Tian" is know as "Yuen"? Very different you know.
You must understand that they were countless dishonnest tricks made up by X. It will be hard for the people to even listen to them whether they are true of not. |

looks like milo ice is not well versed in chinese writting. i wonder why he shows his ignorance here. for fun?
The right hand side sub character for God is used for all terms related to God.
Tian was never pronounced as yuen in the presentation.
The small side stroke from right to left is the same concept as the one for god in chinese.
If yu were to notice, all chinese character that has this small stroke are one way or another related to things that are living. examples would be cow and lamb. |

OK, OK. I am not fimiliar in Chinese writing. (darn, only if in SRJKC).
Anyway, you must understand. These western fairy tales which seem unrelated to Eastern civilizations before suddenly have something to do with Chinese characters. I need a pause for that. |

Ahh....alas, something fresh and interesting being brought up again.
I do not believe Chinese characters were made to remember Biblical stories. Period.
Acong,
The word 'Tian' meaning 'Farm' in English. It may be used to describe garden though.
However, I am glad the true concept of Taoism is being portrayed in the slide. It is true ancient Chinese believe only in One God. We call it Ming Ming Shang Di. Shang Di is God not deities. The Deitified Deity is called Yu Di or Yu Huang Da Di. Not God.
