[God Rested]

In the Bible, Genesis 2:2,

"By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work."

Exodus 31:17

"It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed."

Whereas in the Quran,

"Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth."
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]

"And We did certainly create the heavens and earth and what is between them in six period of time, and there touched Us no weariness."
[Qaf 50:38]

It just a small effort to make Muslims understand better Christian faith through comparative studies.. InshaAllah, will try to share more for us to learn about other faith through their respective source and not base on Islamic source alone...
