Beyonce’s the Star Spangled shammer POP superstar Beyonce mimed the US national anthem at President Barack Obama’s inauguration ceremony, it emerged yesterday.Her backing band revealed the singer, 31, lip-synched The Star-Spangled Banner as he was sworn in for a second term.
She had wowed a crowd of 700,000 plus millions worldwide with her seemingly flawless performance in Washington DC on Monday
But last night Kristen DuBois, spokesman for the Marine Corps Band, said that Beyonce had decided at the 11th hour to mime to a pre-recorded backing track.
She said: “We did pre-record it and it was Beyonce’s decision at the last minute to go with the pre-recorded version.
“Those were the instructions we were given. We don’t know the reason why. All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions.”
Beyonce ditched her earpiece halfway through the song before appearing to belt out the final lines. It appears that may have also been faked for dramatic effect.
But a spokesman for Kelly Clarkson — who also performed — said she did sing live.
Later Mr Obama danced with wife Michelle at a star-studded ball.

'When I heard the news this evening that she was pre-recorded I really laughed. I thought it was funny because the weather down there was about 46 or 44 degrees and for most singers that is just not good singing weather. 'When I heard that I just really cracked up. Huhu. Dari revealation ni, dpt la kite tau yg retis2 US ni mostly yg korang tgk vocal flawless2 tu sebenarnya bkn 100% live. Diorang ni dibacking dgn pre-recorded track. Kata Beyonce, dia nyanyi sikit, yg lain mostly miming. Dia rasa x salah kalo dia wat mcm tu sbb cuaca sejuk siap ckp dulu Pavarotti pon wat mcm tu gak. So skrg ni korang taula sbnrnya kalo retis tu nyanyi flawless wlpn dgr bunyi napas & jerit2 x sepertinya nyanyi live. mic je live, tp pre-recorded backing track ada kat blkg membantu. haha
p/s: teringat kisah Ashlee Simpson miming smpi populariti dia jatuh.

sbb ada org dlm Marine Corp Band (yg mengiringi muzik masa Obama' inauguration) ckp masa Beyonce nyanyi diorang memang x main alat2 muzik tu pon. Ada org yg tanya kat diorang kot x silap kenape diorang pura2 main masa tu x main betul2.
last2 memang terbukti yg dia guna pre-recorded track. Sbb org atasan marine corp yg ckp, siap kata marine corp member xde hak nak ckp si beyonce tu mime ke tak. Beyonce pon dah ngaku, katanya dia di advice guna pre-recorded sbb x cukup rehearsal katanya.Tp org kata Beyonce and her management saja buat mcm ni sbb nak buzzkan single terbaru Destiny's child.

Because it is too perfect la org suspect dia miming. alangkah Aretha Franklin nyanyi 4 thn lepas pon x perfect, a few bad notes, inikan plak beyonce. The weather is too cold. Org pki baju berlapis/tebal. Mcm Kelly clarkson tu, baju tebal. nyanyi pon static je tp live. Beyonce nyanyi sgt bersahaja siap gaya2,cabut earpiece bagai dgn baju yg dia pki pon nampak x brp nak tebal. So, ada la org2 suspect mana mungkin Beyonce leh nyanyi live sebagus itu di hari yg dingin itu. Aku rasa Beyonce xnak sore dia crack di rakam live, so dia miming la kot. Dia kan perfect.
