Fortunately Andy Dick's recent arrest photo (left) is the least terrifying of his collection. Dick, 45, was arrested in May for disorderly conduct, and was released from Riverside County Sheriff's Department jail in California after posting a meager $500 bail. But that is the tamest of the comedian's three experiences behind bars. In 2008 he posed for a terrifying mug shot (right) after he was arrested for drug possession and sexual battery. Not learning his lesson the first time, Dick was charged with sexual abuse in 2010.

What was the most surefire way for Gary Coleman to destroy all fond memories fans had of him from him hit TV show Diff'rent Strokes? Take this terrifying mug shot back in 2010 after being arrested for domestic abuse charges, of course. Long gone was the cute little Arnold Jackson fans knew and loved from the hit sitcom that ran from 1978 to 1986. Coleman, 41, was booked that January in Utah and had to pay $1,725 in bail to be released. Only four months later, he tragically fell down the stairs in his home and passed away after two days in the hospital.

Las Vegas may be Sin City, but Bruno Mars was sinning a bit too much for the city's cops to be comfortable with last September. The 26-year-old "Billionaire" singer was busted with nearly three grams of cocaine in a bathroom stall at the Hard Rock Hotel. Unsurprisingly, Mars -- real name Peter Hernandez -- pleaded guilty to the felony charge in exchange for only receiving a probation sentence. That must be why he looks so happy in his arrest photo. That, or it was the drugs going through his system.

There's something to be said about celebrities and their affinity for cocaine. The drug proved to be Tim Allen's downfall when he tried to sell a large quantity of it to an undercover police officer in Michigan back in 1978, when he was 25. He took this gem of a mug shot and served two years in a Minnesota federal prison before going on to become one of the most beloved television stars of the '90s thanks to Home Improvement. Allen, now 58, struck out in Michigan again in 1997 when he was charged with drunk driving after taking his 1988 Ferrari 30 miles over the speed limit in a Detroit suburb. He's stayed away from the long arm of the law after being ordered to pay a fine and attend counseling.

Now Woody Harrelson might be the actor best known for his roles in No Country for Old Men, Zombieland and the upcoming Hunger Games, but back in 1982, he was just a cute guy who was about to make it big in a new hit comedy series Cheers. Only a scant month after the show first hit the air, a 21-year-old Harrelson (pictured) was arrested in Columbus for disturbing the peace (he was allegedly dancing in the middle of a busy road because, well, why not). Fortunately, Harrelson managed to avoid jail all together by paying a fine to the city. He found himself in cuffs a few more times after that though -- in 1996, he was charged with a misdemeanor for planting hemp seeds in rural Kentucky as part of a crusade to legalize the crop (he was acquitted). Six years later, he was embroiled with Scotland Yard after he was arrested in London for smashing an ashtray in a cab and running away from cops -- he paid the driver for the damages and no further action was taken.

Kim Delaney seems to have gotten off a bit easy for her January 2002 DUI in Malibu, Calif., for which she pleaded no contest after refusing to take a blood-alcohol test. Considering the then-40-year-old actress only received a two-year probation, a $300 fine and an order to take a safe-driving class, we're left wondering if maybe her arresting officer was a big fan of NYPD Blue!

Things didn't go as easily for "Jessie's Girl" singer Rick Springfield when he was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving back in May. The 62-year-old Australian '80s pop star tested with a blood alcohol content of 0.10 after he was pulled over in Malibu while driving his 1963 Corvette on the Pacific Coast Highway. The former teen heartthrob was booked in a nearby jail, but shelled out the $5,000 bail to walk and pleaded not guilty in court two months later.

Let's just say that 2005 wasn't the best year for American Pie star Chris Klein. The then-26-year-old actor had just broken off his engagement with Katie Holmes, and then was arrested in San Diego for drunk driving soon after. Pictured after the arrest, Klein was found with a blood alcohol content over 0.20, which is more than twice the legal limit in California. He was booked at the local sheriff's office and could have ended up serving a year in jail if he had been convicted. Clearly, he didn't learn much from that close call because Klein was arrested for another DUI in 2010. He soon checked himself into rehab and served 96 hours behind bars because of his repeat offense.

Though Mickey Rourke is far from the first celebrity on this list to be arrested for drunk driving, but he is the first to have been arrested for driving drunk on a Vespa. The 59-year-old star of The Wrestler was pulled over in Miami Beach, Fla., in 2007 after he performed an illegal U-turn on his scooter and then proceeded to weave all over the road. After police pulled him over, they noticed that he reeked of booze and had bloodshot eyes. Then 55, Rourke was transported to the Miami-Dade County jail and held on a $1,000 bond.

Randy Quaid and his wife Evi have turned out to be one of the most troublesome couples in Hollywood. First they were arrested in 2009 for skipping out on a $10,000 hotel bill in Santa Barbara, Calif. Though that was settled in early 2010, it only took a few more months before the couple was arrested again for living in a guesthouse they didn't own. It was during this time that Quaid, then 59, took this charming mug shot. Only a scant month later, the Quaids sought refugee status in Canada after being arrested on the US-Canadian border, and they are still there now.

Wesley Snipes likely feels a lot closer to the subjects of his 1998 film U.S. Marshals now that he's been arrested by them. In 2008, the now 49-year-old actor was sentenced to three years in federal prison for a failure to file his income-tax returns. Looking dapper, Snipes was photographed for this mug shot after his indictment. Though he applied for a series of appeals, Snipes was forced to serve his imprisonment starting on Dec. 9, 2010. His scheduled date of release is July 19, 2013, so don't look forward to any Blade installments any time soon.

This charming mug shot of Nick Nolte was taken back in 2002 after the actor was arrested for drunk driving in Malibu, Calif., but it's Nolte's previous arrest that really takes the cake. In 1965, the then 24-year-old Nolte was arrested for selling counterfeit documents. The punishment? A 45-year jail sentence and a $75,000 fine. The sentence ended up being suspended, but as a result Nolte was unable to enlist in the Vietnam War. Now 70, Nolte says he felt incomplete as a young man for not being allowed to serve his country.

It's no wonder that Carmen Electra -- real name Tara Patrick -- had decided to divorce her husband, former NBA star Dennis Rodman, because they clearly had a fiery relationship. During November 1999, a month after their divorce was finalized, Miami Beach, Fla., police arrested both Electra and Rodman for simple battery after breaking up a fight between them in a hotel room -- charges were eventually dropped. The 39-year-old former Baywatch star seems to have put her brawling days behind her and found happiness with the former touring guitarist for Korn, Rob Patterson, whom she has been engaged to since 2008.

There became a clear distinction between Paul Reubens and his onscreen persona Pee-Wee Herman when he was arrested in 1991 after he was caught allegedly masturbating in an adult movie theater in Florida. He ended up pleading no contest to the charge, paid a fine and produced an anti-drug public service announcement, but the damage had already been done. The mug shot Reubens, then 39, took was shockingly different from his typical clean-cut look, and helped the story of his arrest make major headlines. It didn't help his public image when he was arrested again 11 years later for having kiddie porn in his possession -- the charge was dropped.

Haley Joel Osment, 23, might be famous for seeing dead people in the 1999 hit The Sixth Sense, but he almost became one of them during a 2006 car accident he was in while driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Osment, then 18 and underage, suffered a broken rib, fractured right shoulder blade, cuts and abrasions. He ended up pleading no contest to his misdemeanor charges, which included drunk driving and drug possession. The young actor was sentenced to three years probation, 60 hours in an alcohol rehabilitation and education program, a $1,500 fine and was ordered to attend at least 26 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
