‘Equator Man’ releases still cuts of Uhm Tae Woong and Lee Jun Hyuk'





Photos of Uhm Tae Woong and Lee Jun Hyuk rehearsing lines together were released on April 20th.

Still cuts of the two actors practicing lines were revealed on the homepage of KBS drama ‘Equator Man‘, and fans couldn’t help but notice how the photos looked like they were meant for a pictorial.

On screen, both actors’ characters have tension between them, but off screen the actors radiated a friendly aura as they reviewed the script for that day’s filming in the sunlight. What drew even more attention was that the script they were reading was for an episode that brought goosebumps to viewers. They were rehearsing the episode in which the characters meet after thirteen years.

On another note, ‘Equator Man’ has been delivering strong ratings by obtaining a rating of 13% (according to AGB Nielsen Media Research) and successfully beat out the ratings of ‘The King 2 Hearts‘ and ‘Rooftop Prince‘.

Actor Lee Jun Hyuk to enlist in the military in June




Actor Lee Jun Hyuk has been confirmed for enlistment as an active-duty soldier in June.

A representative of his agency, Wellmade Star M, stated, “Lee Jun Hyuk will be enlisting next month. Although he still has drama-related schedules left, he has been confirmed to enlist in the coming month.”

Lee Jun Hyuk gained much popularity for his role as Jang Il on KBS‘s ‘Equator Man‘. His character is known for being childhood friends with Kim Sun Woo (played by Uhm Tae Woong), who betrays Sun Woo to keep his father from going to jail.

Lee Jun Hyuk has also appeared on SBS‘s ‘First Wives’ Club‘ in 2007, KBS’s ‘Three Brothers‘ in 2010, SBS’s ‘I Am Legend‘ in 2010, and SBS’s ‘City Hunter‘ in 2011.

Lee Joon-hyeok donates portrait rights



Actor Lee Joon-hyeok donated his portrait rights to "Big Issue Korea".

"Big Issue" is a magazine that is sold by the homeless who get a part of the profits and supports them. It is delivered to over 40 countries over the world. Lee Joon-hyeok had been chosen as the model for the 35th issue.

About the donation of portrait rights, Lee Joon-hyeok said, "I took part in this because it means something good".

Meanwhile, Lee Joon-hyeok is currently in the KBS 2TV drama "The Equator Man" as Lee Jang-il.

Lee Joon Hyuk Shows Off Amazing Drawing Skill





Actor Lee Joon Hyuk revealed his drawing strength.

On the afternoon of May 7th, 2012, Lee Joon Hyuk published an article on his me2day account that read, “Completed the gift activity. So busy because of wanting to quickly send them. The temperature between day and night is big, be careful not to catch a cold.” And he also published the drawings.

The paintings published include those of Lee Won Jong who plays the role of Jang Il’s father, and Lee Joon Hyuk who plays the role Lee Jang Il, bear and Uhm Tae Woong who plays the role of Kim Sun Woo, followed by Lee Bo Young who plays the role of Han Ji Won. The drawing strength aroused admiration from netizens.
