Biopic about England's King George VI (father of present day QueenElizabeth II) and his lifelong struggle to overcome his speechimpediment. Suffering from a stammer from the age of 4 or 5, the youngPrince Albert dreaded any public speaking engagement and historyrecords that his speech at the closing of the 1925 Commonwealthexhibition in London was difficult for both him and everyone listeningthat day. He tried many different therapies over many years but it wasonly when he met Lionel Logue, a speech therapist, that he truly beganto make progress. Logue did not have a medical degree but had worked asan elocution coach in the theater and had worked with shell-shockedsoldiers after World War I. Through a variety of techniques - and muchhard work - he learns to speak in such a way so as to make hisimpediment a minor problem and delivers a faultless speech heard aroundthe world by radio when England declared war on Nazi Germany in 1939.The King and Logue remained lifelong friends.

masa inception bru tyg dlu, ingt senang2 la inception leh menang.

antara social network, king's speech or black swan je kot yg bley menang.

owh, btw aku kasi citer ni 9/10.
almost perfect, kalo x kerana scene dgn david(guy pearce) yg pd aku boring, even scene tu penting pd jln citer.

dah tengok citer ni..

memang best sangat..citer ni sebenarnya based on true story pasal kerabat diraja britain..
lakonan collin firth sebagai sorang raja yang gagap memang berkesan..
agak susah je nak bawakkan lakonan sebagai sorang yang gagap,tapi dia berjaya tonjolkan watak tu dengan mimik muka yang stress bila nak sebut perkataan....

tak heran lah kalau dia dapat award best actor ahad ni....

lagi satu,film ni best sebab menceritakan sedikit latar belakang keluar diraja ni..
kita tengok ada watak ratu elizabeth 2 masa dia kecik,mak dia lakonan helena sebagai queen elizabeth 1...
aku yang tak berapa kenal keluarga ni lepas tengk citer ni boleh wiki pulak pasal silang susur keluarga diraja ni....
