Lexus CT 200h
Lexus Malaysia ha pre-launched their new compact hybrid model CT-200h through their website. The new hybrid car is expected to have its official launch in February 2011. Comes in 2 variants CT 200h standard and CT 200h luxury and tagged at RM168,000 and RM196,500 respectively. Price are OTR without insurance respectively.
Since Lexus, is part of Toyota Group, they share the same powertrain that we can found in Toyota Prius (i.e 2ZR-FXE).
The 2ZR-FXE 1.8 litre Atkinson cycle 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 98 horsepower and 105 pounds-feet of torque. Combined with an 80-hp electric motor, a generator and a 202-volt nickel-metal hydride battery pack, the series and parallel hybrid system produces a total of 134 hp. A continuously variable transmission (CVT), the only transmission available, directs the push to the front wheels.
Both variants comes with similar spec such as perforated leather seats which comes with seat heaters, dual-zone air conditioning, cruise control. On safety, both have ABS, BA, VSC, TRC and EBD, 8 airbags, rear seat Isofix points as standard. Both specs gets 16 inch alloy wheel with 205/55 series tyres.
Since the different between CT 200h standard and CT 200h luxury is RM28,000 ++ you can expect many of Standard CT 200h are without the following options :
* LED lamps (standard spec is halogen lamps)
* The driver and passenger seat adjustment is of the manual variety
* No smart entry,
* No Electro Multi Vision (EMV) screen,
* No rain sensing wipers or rear reverse camera
* No Lexus navigation system
* No remote touch controller
* No sports absorber

dari test drive honda insight saya hari tu, bunyi enjin dalam kabin kuat. mcm buka tingkap rasa nya. masa tu mmg full throttle. speed 175km. cvt smooth sgt. pikap ada kurang sket. |
