UCL Qualification scenario....

GROUP A

Bordeaux have qualified from Group A. They have yet to guarantee top spot. (Victory for Bordeaux over Juventus will be sufficient for this.)
Juventushave not yet qualified. If Juventus beat Bordeaux in matchday 5 theywill guarantee at least second place and thus qualify. Either that, orthey must hope that Bayern Munich lose to Maccabi Haifa.
Bayern Munich need Juventus to fail to beat Bordeaux to keep their hopes of qualification alive.
MaccabiHaifa cannot qualify for the next stage. They must beat Bayern Munichto be in with a chance of finishing 3rd for the Europe League spot.

GROUP B

Manchester United have qualified from Group B.They have yet to guarantee top spot, which they can do by beatingBesiktas if Wolfsburg drop points to CSKA Moscow. (A draw and aWolfsburg loss is also sufficient.)
Wolfsburg have not yetqualified. If Wolfsburg beat CSKA Moscow on matchday 5 theywill guarantee at least second place and thus qualify, and can stillfight for first place. If they draw instead they will qualify too, butif they do this and Manchester United beat Besiktas they can onlyfinish second.
CSKAMoscow have not yet qualified. They welcome Wolfsburg on the nextmatchday, currently holding an inferior head-to-head record to theGermans, having lost to them 3-1. They must win to be in with a chanceof qualification for the next stage. Even if they fail to do so,gaining more points than Besiktas on matchday 5 will guarantee thirdplace.
Besiktas are unable to qualify for the next stagedue to having an inferior head-to-head record with Wolfsburg. They musteither beat Manchester United or hope that CSKA Moscow lose toWolfsburg to keep their hopes of third place alive.

GROUP C

No team has yet qualified from Group C.
If Real Madrid beat Zurich and Milan beat Marseille, both of these teams qualify for the next stage.
Marseillecannot qualify for the next stage in the next matchday but if they loseto Milan and Real Madrid beat Zurich they can only finish third orfourth.
If FC Zurich lose to Real Madrid, they will be outof European competition entirely. If they win, they keep their hopes ofqualification for the next stage alive.

GROUP D

Chelsea have already qualified.In the race for first place, they have a superior head-to-head recordwith Porto (1-0 win), and a one point advantage. Victory over Porto onthe next matchday will guarantee top spot.
Porto have already qualified. Defeat to Chelsea in the next matchday will result in second place; a draw or a win leaves top spot open.
AtleticoMadrid are unable to qualify. They battle for third place and theEuropa League spot. At present their head-to-head record with APOELfeatures only a 0-0 draw.
APOEL are unable to qualify and are a point behind Atletico Madrid in the race for the UEFA Cup spot.

GROUP E

Fiorentina havequalified for the next stage but have yet to guarantee top spot. A winagainst Liverpool in the next matchday will guarantee top spot, as willa draw providing that Lyon fail to beat Debrecen by two or more goals.
Lyon havequalified for the next stage. They must beat Debrecen by two or moregoals in the next matchday while hoping that Fiorentina draw withLiverpool; or beat Debrecen by any margin if Fiorentina lose, to finishfirst.
Liverpool are eliminated from the Champions League and drop into the Europa League.
Debrecen are out of Europe.

GROUP F

No team has yet qualified from Group F.
Barcelona need only draw with Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine to guarantee qualification; or lose providing that Rubin Kazan beat Inter.
Interneed only beat Rubin to guarantee qualification; or draw less than 2-2providing that Barcelona do not lose to Dynamo Kiev.
Rubin must beat Inter to guarantee qualification.
Dynamo Kiev must beat Barcelona, and hope that Inter draw with Rubin Kazan, to guarantee qualification.

GROUP G

Sevilla have qualified for the next stage. A draw with Rangers in the final matchday will see them guarantee top spot.
Unirea must avoid defeat in Stuttgart to secure second place. The worst they can finish is third.
Stuttgart must beat Unirea to secure second place. The worst they can finish is third.
Rangers are out of European competition.

GROUP H

Arsenal have qualified for the next stage in first place.
Olympiakosneed only avoid defeat to qualify in second place. If they lose, andStandard fail to beat AZ, they will also qualify.
Standard mustbeat AZ while hoping that Olympiakos lose to Arsenal in order to securesecond place. If Standard win and Olympiakos gain at least a point,Standard will finish third. If Standard draw, they will finish third.If Standard lose, they will finish fourth.
AZ Alkmaar can only finish a maximum of third place. They must beat Standard to attain this position.
