FR mmg sharp masa attack corner kalau betul2 nak push to the limit...but tayar cepat haus la sebab abused kaw2 kan? lelebih lagi lap masih byk......nanti lap2 yang kendian dah kurang tire tracti ...
kambeng_masam Post at 9-10-2009 12:22 AM

yup betul tu....tapi tu pasal in racing slow in fast out where you will be fast at corner and secara tak langsung penjagaan tayar akan lebih lama.....attacking corner boleh tapi jangan selalu. Just to note slow in fast out ni bukannya kita masuk very slow, just with appropriate speed.

In theory, the “Circle of Kamm” explains why a FWD car tends to understeer ‘earlier’ (as opposed to RWD oversteering) cos the inherent maximum grip of a contact patch, in this case of a front tyre, is easily overwhelmed by the sum of three factors. These include propulsion (forward drive), cornering (steering) and braking forces. Such understeer tendency is not necessarily bad since it is afterall, an early warning that you are about to lose it into a corner. Instinctively most – if not all – drivers will ease off the throttle and the car will correct itself.

With driving aids like traction control & stability control, harder damper settings plus better tyre technology, a FWD car does indeed handle very well around bends these days, and hence, safer too. For those higher output (torque) cars like the Civic Type-R, Clio RS and Megane R26 F1 (tested recently), its LSD enabled front drive ensures an even more stable footing of the front axle around the twisties. For most of us with regular driving skills (and regular sized gall), I reckon it doesn’t make much difference in speed taken around bends and handling on B-roads, whether you are in say, a 325i Sports or a Golf GTI ABT or a Civic Type-R for that matter.

However, for RWD purists or junkies, a FWD car still presents that busier steering feel since after all, the front axle is indeed, busier handling active forward motion forces in real time, all the time. In contrast, a RWD vehicle’s rack is palpably more neutral to steer and thus sweeter when powering out of a corner.

huhuhu....memang la bang.......antiroll bar sebenarnya dia kuatkan lagi chasis kereta and kurangkan body roll meaning mostly kebnayakan kereta kalo kata masuk corner chasis akan sway and flex sebab weight transfer so jadi body roll. dengan secara tak lansung mengurangkan steering respond. Jadi anti roll bar ni dapat reduced masalah ni.

Tapi ingat ultra racing ni bagus cuma jangan dapat yang ciplak punya.
