FIFA President Blatter Hits Out At Premier League's Riches

FIFA president Sepp Blatter has once again criticised the spending power of the Premier League.
Recent rumours surrounding Manchester City and Chelsea's potential spending have again got Blatter worried about the advantage he perceives Premier League clubs to have due to their foreign ownership.
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said, "In France, Germany and Spain there are by-laws that say owners must be from the same country.
"This does not exist in the Premier League and it is a problem we must address."
However, FIFA are powerless to actually make any changes, as foreign ownership does not contravene any British laws - a fact which Blatter acknowledged.
He continued, "We have no right to interfere in economic movements. We, the whole FIFA family, are aware of this."
