still aku risau pasal peyod sikit2 ni.. u ada dpt email tak pasal darah berkumpul kat scull tuh.. pompan tuh meninggal mendadak.. rupanya sbb ada darah berkumpul kat scull dia.. ni sbb dia amik ubat perancang lah yg buat period dia sikit/singkat.. hmm...

pe pun dulu doc aku ada kata.. kalo kita amik apa pil perancang pun kita kena regularize senaman... just to regularize blood circulation kat badan... sbb walaupun pil perancang pun ada side effect nyer and 1 of it is blood clotting tu laa.. which is dangerous.. tu sbb kita tak leh amik pil perancang ni dlm jangka masa terlalu lama.. kena rehat2kan gak..

Nak kata sakit, sakit la gak, sbb nnt kita kn spread legs depan doktor tu kan, ngan spotlight suluh kat 'anu' tu kan,  pah tu dia guna yg cam beak itik tuh, apa ke nama nya ntah, bukak kita nye *toot* tuh, pas tu masukkan benda tuh kedalam, agak ngilu gak laa.., pas tu nak wat positioning lagik... huhuhuhuhuhuhu ada la, ambil masa gak la....
Kalau ngan cik abe, tak sakit.. syok ada laa..

Anything to do with VE memang lah ngeri. Speculum tu kalau jenis stainless steel, lagi lah seram sejuk and i diguna untuk membuka seluas luasnya. It is really uncomfortable, worst if the dr is  from the oppsite gender.
My first iucd was done about 6 or 7  weeks after delivery. Lepas dr dah insert, she asked me to cough, dia kata it helps to position the device.

i dulu nk start pakai iud, takut jugak tak serasi. tapi alhamdulillah dh 10 bulan pakai tak de apa2 yang abnormal..

Dah pun buat last week.

This is how it comes in, the device is on to of the handle.

Not so clear... you can see the decive on the top  macam "T". It is all white in colour

Since then I am having on and off spotting and cramps.

Doctor tu cakap, ada in some cases the man dapat rasa the string and she thinks it is just that string is a little harder then other IUCD. If that happens, the string would then be trimmed a little less then 2cm.

when doing pap smear, when the doc 'korek' the specimen from inside of me, it felt like mild contraction, like a slight period pain... camtu ke u rasa masa the doc insert/place the device? or is it more painful..

thanks for the info tan.. so the man still could feel the string eh, and the string can be trimmed up to 2 cm .....

please let us know when the spotting stops.. now been 2 weeks la ye..

Pauline.. from the scale of period pain... it is about 1. Our pain  threshold are individual. The doctor did say that some doctors ask their patients to take ibuprofen  before the procedure.I did not take any.The pain comes when the device is in situ. Automatically the uterus will contract to hold the device. The pain now comes on and off and I notice whenever I have they pain, I磍l have spotting.

The string is usually left at 2cm .Not all of them could feel the string. If it is felt then the doctor will have to cut shorter.

do let us know precisely how long does the spotting lasted.. & if whether the man could feel the string even after the doc has trimmed the string yea..

Ms Voon, My other half didn't feel at all...  I mean the string. I am still having bloody stain but pain is gone.

Kena tanya doctor dulu kot. Itu pun kalau your husband curious nak tengok how it is done. I think man should see it to know how much a women have to go through.
