were bole guna for past tense untuk plural forms. kecuali untuk you... you singular.

tambahan.... exceptions to the above rules that I am aware of - kita bole pakai "were" for singular bila buat ayat yg bermaksud "seandainya"

contoh: "I wish I were there" "If I were you, I would have killed him" "If only she were here"

persamaan = semuanya benda2 wishful yg impossible nak jadi, dan tak mungkin jadi, not factual at all. kita panggil subjunctive mood.
subjunctive mood ni sentiasa pakai were walopun for singular.
