AVI + Sub?

i download a movie and the subtitle for it:

[阿娘].Arang.2006.DVDrip.XviD-PosTX.avi
postx-arang.sub (this is what i get after i unzip it!)

how do i play the movie with the subtitle on??

the video file & the subtitle should be in the same folder. macam dlm gambar ni:



pls note : my subtitle file ends with ".txt".

then, play it with VLC player or Media Player Classic (i recommend this!).

MPlayer Classic is included in K-Lite (Mega) Codec.
get the latest of it from www.free-codecs.com.
it is freeware.

You can also use VLC PLayer to enable /use subtitles

Here is how..

File / 0pen file / tick subtitle 0ptions  / setting

and click Browse your subs file

you can use virtualdubmod and vobsub to permanently add subtitle to your movie. the movie and subtitle files don't need to be in the same folder at all.
