I am reading the Bible in it's original language - Hebrew.

Debmey is in Denial lol,. Why ? Isnt Perelmanns statement clear enough ? What does he mean when he said the Bible's ORIGINAL LANGUAGE AKA MOTHER TOUNGUE was HEbrew ? Not clear enough ka? that one original language of the bible must surely be Hebrew then but according to Perelmann of course...i dont know about you saying its origins were Greek..or perhaps the both of you are saying different things, oh well thats not my problem.. but lets see if you can disagree with Perelmann and insist its Greek...
oh btw, theres no such thing as having two languages to explain one text which holds a specific meaning/message , there should only be one original language.
So was it Greek or Hebrew Debmey, Choose one.

Hebrew is only one of the languages of the Bible, go check with Nick yourself. |

One word, one text,One book, One Message, one language, One meaning= a common understanding
only one of ? Nick said its the original language, he didnt say language(S) so i suppose he wasnt refering to any other language but hebrew .go argue with him yourself... so... how many 'original languages' does the Bible have ? its no wonder you people are so confused... even the english bible which describes God as 'God/Lord differs so much from an Indonesian bible in which the transliteration of the text describes God as 'Allah' . thats only one example how confusion can arise from a text having no specific or an original language to refer to

if hes wrong about saying the Bible was written in its Original language -Hebrew please ask him to correct it... |

He did not make any mistake, he was merely saying that he was reading the Bible in Hebrew. Why don't you ask him yourself and see if he meant wrongly? |
|

he mentioned that HEBREW is the original language , read the quote again..." I am reading the Bible in it's original language - Hebrew"
Unless he wants to correct that or are you grammatically unsound? |
