Mother抯 milk is a matchless compound created by Allah to meet the baby抯 nutritional needs and protect it against possible infections. The balance of the nutriments in mother抯 milk is at ideal levels and the milk is in the ideal form for the baby抯 immature body. At the same time, the mother抯 milk is also very rich in nutrients which accelerate the growth of brain cells and the development of the nervous system. 1 Artificial baby foods prepared with present-day technology cannot replace this miraculous food.

Mother抯 Milk and Intelligence

Scientific research shows that the cognitive development in breast-fed babies is greater than that in other babies. A comparative analysis of breast-fed babies and formula-fed babies by James W. Anderson梐n expert from the University of Kentucky梕stablished that the IQs of babies fed on mother抯 milk were 5 points higher than those of other babies. As a result of this study, it was determined that intelligence is benefited by mother抯 milk for up to 6 months and that children who are breast-fed for less than 8 weeks show no IQ benefit. 7

Syukur Alhamdulillah kerana dapat menyusukan baby since dia lahir sehinggalah ke 9 bulan sekarang ni. InsaAllah akan cuba BF sampai dia berusia 2 tahun...:pray:

saya antara orang yang bertuah kerana berpeluang menyusukan anak2 saya cukup 2 tahun..tanpa setitik pon susu formula....Alhamdulillah...

Saya memang menyokong 200% mana2 ibu yg tekad menyusu badan anak2 mereka..... :setuju:

ONce I found myself pregnant, I've decided to bf my babies....no doubt about it....

dan saya mmg rasa terkilan sgt kalau ada ibu2 yg tidak bekerja choose  not to  breastfeed their babies....sedih nyerr...

Allah has given such an opportunity...now it's up to the mothers to grab that opportunity to provide the best (breastmilk ,of course!) for their children.

memang betul, olie nampak anak olie yang second ni lebih bijak sikit dari abangnya w/pun baru masuk setahun harini tapi olie nampak banyak perbezaan dari abangnya yang dulu hanya sebulan aje b/feeding....harap-harap yang third ni oli akan dapat b/feedkan dia sepenuh nya ..Insyallah...:pray::pray:

Alhamdulillah....

Anak eynda yg sulung dulu nyusu badan sampai umur dia 3 tahun......2nd baby ni pun eynda bagi susu badan sajer...harap-harap dlm nyusukan dia selama yg boleh........sejak awal peknen kedua-dua anak eynda memang niat nak bagi susu badan jer...tak pernah terlintas langsung nak campurkan dgn susu formula....even yg 2nd pregnancy ni dulu masa peknen 6 bulan dah keluar susu meleleh-leleh...

mmglah nak sgt bf nih tp nak buek mcm mana takde susu lahhhh!! dah try bermcm2 tambah kan susu tp time pose ari tuh susu kering so nak taknak terpaksa gak bg formula!! at least sempat gak bf sampai 10mthsss.... anak yg sulung sampai 4thn & anak ke2 pulak 6mths jeekkk!!!!

mmg best kan kalu dpt bf baby sampai umo 2 tawon..
skert pon rasa bertuah sgt dapat bf anak yg sulung walaupun hanya sampai 6 bulan. sbb skert dah +ve 2nd preggy.
igt 2nd baby ni pon skert nak bf dia setakat mana yg boleh. seronok sgt dpt bfkan anak sendiri...

macam mana nak tau kita capable utk breastfeed ke tak ye... sebab dah nak masuk 33 weeks, tak de ape2 indication pun...

actually, kalau ikut pakar penyusuan anak, setiap ibu capable of breastfeeding their children.

anyway, mengikut pengalaman saya, kita takkan tau our capabilities until we are in the situation. cuma, sepanjang tempoh mengandung, saya penuhkan masa dgn research sebanyak mungkin about fully breastfeeding. banyakkan membaca, dan research through internet.

juga kenali signs, sama ada kita betul2 tak ada susu, atau kita salah latching mulut baby dgn breast sebab itu susu tak keluar, atau apa.. banyakkan buat kajian.
