Kebanyakan budak-budak memang tak suka sayur....tak tahulah when and how diorang share and exchange notes ttg tu.

Selalunya kita introduce vegetables to babies bila umur dia 5/6 months.
Macam mana? Selalunya pada peringkat awal kita introduce food one at a time, tak campur sebab perut belum boleh terima semua.  Puree macam biasa  contohnya pureed carrot, sweet potato, peas.  Bila baby dah besar sikit boleh lah campur dengan bubur nasi dan puree semua sekali.


Dari pengalaman akak nak bagi anak-anak makan sayur memang susah, jadi kenalah sabar banyak.

i still remember, i ant org yg TAK MINAT makan sayur.

but my mom saiko me kaw kaw punyer.

dier cakap, saper nak cantek makan sayur. (since my kazen yg besar2 sumer lawa lawa kononnyer mereka lawa sbb mereka makan sayur.)

from then, now dah tak 'allergic' ngn sayur....

How do I talk to my children about the importance of good food in ways that they can understand?


You have to talk to children at the level they are on intellectually. When three-year-olds and four-year-olds come in for their checkup, we talk about how they can grow bigger and stronger muscles if they eat vegetables and spaghetti and fruit. I tell them that if they eat cookies and candies and greasy foods, they won't be able to jump and play the way they'd like. At home, the parents can then build on "what the doctor told you."

A couple of years later, I talk about specific activities that the child may like such as baseball, soccer, swimming, or whatever. Then I ask, "Do you think you'll be able to run and kick better if you eat French fries and milkshakes or if you eat vegetable and fruit?" They have no trouble coming up with the right answer. We talk about which fruits and vegetables are their favorites, and I assure them that eating those vegetables is just the right thing to do if you want to be the best player on the team. I stress the fact that they're "big kids now" and they know better than to eat sweets and meat. I say, "Only little kids think that's good for you!" I also encourage them to eat backwards once in a while. Have cereal for dinner, and spaghetti for breakfast. It's fun, and it makes the day's meals more interesting.

It's effective to put mental pictures in a child's head. I call fast food hamburgers "greaseburgers" and refer to cheese as "chunks of fat." We describe how butter looks if you leave it in the hot sun so it gets "all gushy." Ask your six-year-old if he'd want to rub that greasy butter all over his face and hair. Of course, he wouldn't. So explain that's just what he's doing when he eats a hamburger and fries, only he's rubbing it on the inside. Yuck!

As the child gets older, we talk about "brain food" and the benefit to his grades if he eats the right way.

If you have teenagers, you can talk about how they look. Kids who eat lowfat, low-sugar vegetarian meals don't have acne, sallow skin, or greasy hair. They look vibrant and alive. They are full of energy and can really enjoy school and extracurricular activities. No one wants a date who's covered in makeup to hide bad skin and who's too tired from an unhealthy diet to enjoy several hours of dancing.

Remember, use examples with immediate rewards. Young people don't think in terms of tomorrow. They live and breathe for today. They're more interested in the benefits at 15 than 50. [/color

tulah kan fie, shinky sendiri pun memang tak berapa suka sayur especially taugeh...tapi sayur memang penting untuk proses tumbesaran kan. Malaekah baru 4 bulan, nanti dah 6 bulan baru nak try bagi dia solid food, tu yg sibuk tanya nih...first time jadi mama lah katakan

Masa kecik dulu akak suka sangat taugeh masak lemak taruk tauhu...cuma yang malasnya nak kena buang ekor tauge tu. Eee...tak suka betul kalau mak suruh...:geram:


kalau untuk babies, better kalau shinky try satu sayur at a time, dari situ senang nak tahu sayur mana yang dia suka dan tak.  Selalunya akan ada satu yang dia prefer lebih.
Sama jugak macam food lain, kalau kita try satu persatu senang kalau kita nak detect in case ada allergy.

dan lagi satu, bila masa yg sesuai nak introduce daging ker ikan ker ayam ker kat baby ek?

he..he..mesti tak sabo-sabo nak bagi solid food kat malaekah yer..:love: aku dulu pun cam nko gak.

kalo nak introduce daging or ayam biasanya tunggu baby dah above 1 year coz takut baby allergy .  Mcm fish mmg less elergy ..biasanya kalo ikan, aku gunakan ikan tenggiri coz tak banyak tulang...ikan bilis yg jenis halus pun  bagus gak especially yg kaler putih tu.:love:

malaekah kalau tengok kitorg makan dia pun siap terkulat-kulat...he he. kekadang kesian tengok dia dok keluar air lior tengok org makan.

Elakkan makanan bergula

Kepada ibubapa yang ada anak-anak yang active dan hyperactive cuba jangan berikan mereka makanan dan minuman yang mempunyai kandungan gula yang tinggi seperti junk food dan juga air gas...

Ini adalah kerana gula memberikan tenaga dan kalau banyak sangat intake gula ni lah yg menyebabkan kanak-kanak ni x boleh duduk diam..Mereka akan active sampailah kandungan gula tu habis ditukar menjadi tenaga..

my doter will be 3yrs old this 25 june tapi cukup sussah nak mkn she like vege bagi lah apa pun
but tak nak nasi kalau makn sesuap 2 je then nak lauk n vege je...
air putih ni sampai ke paksa... if not nak orange vitagen sirap, tapi badan montel coz susu
dia suka mee, if buat mee sup ke goreng ke she will eat ok lah quite a handfull.
dia mkn lambat sngt kunyah dia lama, it this normal i risau lah coz kalau compare dgn sepupu dia a yr older
her she eat cepat n suka mkn nasi...
kadng tu terfikir bby i ni ok ke

susu dan makanan yg sesuai bg baby satu tahun keatas

hi everyone.....my daughter baru masuk setahun....baru ni....
dia memang suka mkn nasi lauk yg mcm sup gitu..yg lemak2 dia tak brapa suka.....hari - hari lauk sama jer...kita takut juga dia boring dgn mkn yg sama....so, saya beli nestum yg mcm biskut tuh....dia mkn tapi kejap jer..pastu langsung tak nak....last last bagi ler nasi yg selalu dia makan.....elok jer dimakannya/.....semua kuih atau mkn yg org dewasa mkn dia nak juga.....kuih tu tak pedas tak perlah...ni klu pedas......satu hal pulak nak sorok kan kat dia.....what ever pun dia tak der lah cerewet sgt....susu minum plg kurang 6 botol sehari dlm 200ml.....
no nak tanyer susu aper yg sesuai utk naik kan berat bdn and selera mkn.....setakat ni pernah bagi susu sismilac, susu mamex gold.....berat dia tak naik sgt.....  nok cuba sebarangan susu dia tu cerewet bab susu....yg tak sedap dimulut dia tak mau diminum nyer.....ok nanti citer lain kali.....saya nanti sape2 yg tolong jawab soalan saya nih....

umo anak kiter sama la...sy kasi dia minum susu lactogen...b4 this dia pon minum susu mamex gold....
bdn dia mmg x naik.tp bler tukar ngan lactogen makin berisi.makan pon bselera.yg pedas pon makan.
daughter sy pon suka sup.makan carrot plg suka...

kite pun first time jadi mama ni..anak kite dah 5 bln ++...kite bagi dia mkn beras perang..mcm nestum gitu..ok ke kalau kite  selang seli kan bagi dia mkn nasi plak..almaklumla kite kureng pengalaman...kalo nak bagi mkn sayur..sayur apa yg ok ek..
