PlotSet in the Joseon Dynasty period. Drama series follows the Crown Prince Sohyeon ( Lee Jin-Wook), his warriors Heo Seung-Po and An Min-Seo and a guy named Park Dal-Hyang who is preparing for his military examination. - Inspired by Alexandre Dumas’s 1844 novel "The Three Musketeers”.
- Drama series "The Three Musketeers" will consist of three series (or seasons) with each series consisting of 12 episodes.
- Filming begins July, 2014.
- Actor Lee Jin-Wook, director Kim Byung-Soo and screenwriter Song Jae-Jungpreviously collaborated on tvN drama series "Nine: Nine Times Time Travel”.

FNC Entertainment announced on June 12, “Jung Yong Hwa will be starring as male lead ‘Park Dal Hyang’ in tvN’s The Three Musketeers.”
Based on the novel of the same title written by Alexandra Dumas, The Three Musketeers is a grand scale drama with over 10 billion won invested in production. Setting Joseon dynasty as the background, the drama will depict the story of Park Dal Hyang and the three musketeers.
‘Park Dal Hyang’ to be acted by Jung Yong Hwa, is equivalent to the character of D’Artagnan in the original novel. Skilled in martial arts, he is a soldier well known for his bravery, conviction and drive throughout Joseon and Qing dynasty.
Jung Yong Hwa will also be forming a triangle love line with prince So Hyun (Lee Jin Wook) as they compete for his first love, Yoon Seo (Seo Hyun Jin).
The Three Musketeers is the third collaboration project of Kim Byung Soo PD and writer Song Jae Jung, who also produced Queen In Hyun’s Man and Nine.
The Three Musketeers is a seasonal drama separated into three seasons with each season containing 12 episodes. The first episode is set to air in August.
