LINE Rolls Out New Features for PersonalisedExperience

Kuala Lumpur, May 29, 2013 – LINE, the world's leading mobilemessenger, announced the launch of 3.7.0 update for Android and iOS smartphones. The new 3.7.0 version demonstrates LINE’s constant pursuit of advancementas a mobile messenger that provides users with a more personalised experience.
With the 3.7.0update, users can customise their messenger interface with various themes. A Cony theme is available in the new versionwith other themes to be released in various phases, including the ones based onother LINE characters such as Brown. LINE has also infusedsocial-oriented user interface to its previously chat-based-only OfficialAccounts to enable users to browse and share content more interactively. Withouthaving to add any Official Accounts as friend, users have been granted accessto preview the Home and Profile Page. Once added as a friend, all content onthe Official Accounts can be posted on each user’s Timeline.
The new3.7.0 version also comes with an added security feature that further augmentsuser’s personalised experience. Users can now conveniently block or reportother unknown users and hence avoiding unsolicited messages or suspicious groupinvitations. The added safety feature demonstrates LINE’s endeavors in takingone step ahead to address the increasing mobile internet conundrum, especiallyspam to ensure that mobile experience is kept to user’s personal space.

LINE’s PC version is perfectly interlinked with the mobile messenger tomaximise user convenience. In addition to the basic features such as free chatand voice calling, users can use the PC messenger to share large files inMicrosoft Office format- ideal for school or office communication betweencolleagues.
