PKNS makin selesa terajui Liga Perdana

PENDAHULU awal musim, PKNS mengekalkan rekod 100 peratus dengan meraih kemenangan ketiga daripada jumlah perlawanan sama untuk menerajui Liga Perdana selepas merakamkan kemenangan 1-0 ke atas Polis, malam tadi.
Ketika perlawanan dilihat akan berakhir seri tanpa jaringan, pemenang Kasut Emas musim lalu, Muhd Zamri Hassan muncul wira apabila menanduk masuk hantaran lintang Muhd Khairu Azrin sembilan minit sebelum tamat.
Sarawak meneruskan prestasi membanggakan apabila meraih kemenangan kedua untuk naik satu anak tangga ke tempat kedua, dengan keputusan 3-0 ke atas SDM Navy menerusi jaringan Zamri Morshidi, minit ke-8 dan Bobby Gonzales (m-43 dan 90).
# Di Stadium Majlis Perbandaran Selayang, Tentera menghampiri pendahulu apabila menewaskan USM FC 2-1 hasil jaringan V Jaganathan dan Venice Elphi pada minit ke-23 dan 90. S Thinagaran menjaring gol tunggal pasukan pelawat pada minit pertama separuh masa kedua.
# Di Stadium Larkin, Johor turut berada dalam kelompok yang mengejar, apabila meraih kemenangan 2-0 ke atas ‘ adik ’ Majlis Perbandaran Muar. Mohd Azuwad Mohd Arip meletakkan Johor di depan pada minit ke-56 apabila menyempurnakan hantaran lintang Mohd Alif Mohd Yusof dengan pemain gantian, Muhamad Fahian Roslan mengesahkan tiga mata penuh pada minit ke-77.
# Di Stadium Batu Kawan, pendatang baru Liga Perdana, Sime Darby FC merakam kemenangan pertama musim ini apabila menewaskan Pulau Pinang 3-2.

Wajarkah FAM tidak membenarkan pasukan Club bertanding dalam Piala Presiden 2013 ? Hasil menguruskan pasukan di Piala Presiden, pasukan Club seperti Sime Darby FC berjaya menurunkan pemain dari Piala Presiden pada perlawanan akhir Piala FA 2012 (Azmirul Azmi), dan jaringan pemain Piala Presiden yang menumbangkan Terengganu di separuh akhir (Syukor Saidin). Tidakkah ini menunjukkan pengurusan yang baik dapat melahirkan bakat baru untuk mengembangkan bolasepak negara ?
Jika pasukan FA dapat mengurus pasukan di Liga M dengan feeder players dari pasukan Piala Presiden, mengapa pasukan Club tidak mendapat faedah yang sama ? Adakah ini cara FAM untuk ' membunuh ' Club, selepas perlawanan akhir Piala FA dan Piala Malaysia 2012 hanya pasukan Kelantan yang layak dari kalangan pasukan negeri dan lawannya bukan pasukan negeri ?
Admin pasti bukan hanya orang dewasa dan berakal yang mampu mempersoalkan perkara sebegini. Apakah terdapat agenda tersembunyi disebalik ' pembaharuan ' FAM ini ?
National body bar five clubs from competition without explanation

PETALING JAYA : The FA of Malaysia (FAM) have barred five M-League clubs from fielding teams in the President’s Cup (Under-21) competition next season.
And the competition committee’s decision last month caught the five clubs by surprise.
The affected clubs are this year’s President’s Cup finalist NS Betaria, PKNS FC, Johor FC, T-Team and FA Cup finalist Sime Darby FC.
A spokesman for the five clubs said they were informed of the decision via a FAM circular last month.
“ No reason was given for barring the clubs’ participation in the President’s Cup. Only the State FAs, including Kuala Lumpur, Armed Forces, Police and guest teams Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS) and the Bandar Penawar Sports School are eligible to play in the President’s Cup competition next year, ” he said.
“ The clubs are serious about promoting the game. There are several players who got their big breaks playing for these clubs and some have since made it to national team. The clubs in the top flight need a feeder team and a good number of players move up from the President’s Cup to the senior teams.
“ It doesn’t make sense barring the clubs from competing in the President’s Cup. We hope FAM will reconsider the decision. Most of the clubs have appealed to FAM but have not received any reply. ”
A senior team coach said that they even had to terminate the contracts of their coaching staff following the FAM’s decision last month.
“ We want to see a gradual continuity of the players. We are serious about developing the game, too. But how are we to play our roles positively if there are such obstacles ? ” asked the coach.
He also chided FAM for scrapping the ‘ Piala Belia ’ Under-19 League a few years ago.
“ Some of the clubs are well-funded and have plans to set up their own academy and youth development programmes. But what is the point when the FAM host the Youth Cup (Under-19) on a carnival basis. It defeats the purprose as the boys need competitive matches in their respective age groups,” said the coach.
“ There needs to be an avenue for competition, too. The Under-19 and Under-21 players will eventually help the national team one day. ”
FAM competitions committee chairman Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin was not available for comment.

PKNS FC to revive legacy of Mokhtar ' Super Mokh ' Dahari
The Malaysian side will undergo a re-branding process which will see them being named as PKNS FC ' Super Mokh '
PKNS FC have taken a major step in paying tribute to the Malaysian legendary football player, Mokhtar Dahari, by rebranding the club to become PKNS FC ' Super Mokh ' .
The legendary Malaysian striker once ploughed his trade with the Kuala Lumpur-based side and left an impeccable legacy through his on-pitch action. Now, PKNS FC have collaborated with Total Sports Sdn Bhd (TSSB) to refurbish the branding of the club and of course revive the legacy of Super Mokh.
TSSB will be assisting them in the rebranding process with the PKNS FC 'Super Mokh' concept being used as the frame for it. International friendly games are also being arranged while the list of community events organized by PKNS FC is also set to grow once again.
" We all know that Mokhtar Dahari was once a player with this team, leading the team with so much of inspiration. Therefore, I hope that this rebranding will inspire the current lot of players to be motivated with Super Mokh's legacy and continue driving the team forward, " PKNS FC President Noor Hisham Mohd Gouth said in a statement that issued to the media.
Besides that, the Red Ants will also be launching their very own WebTV soon, with hopes of increasing their engagement with the fans.
PKNS FC are a well known side in Malaysia, having achieved plenty of success in their history. Their academy is also regarded as one of the best in the nation, as they continue to produce talents like Azrif Nasrulhaq and Aminuddin Noor, who currently ply their trade with Harimau Muda.

Nazmi Faiz : I've always been a fan of PKNS FC
Wonderkid, Nazmi Faiz insists that he has made the right decision to return to Malaysia and admitted that he is an admirer of his new club

Malaysia's teenage prodigy, Nazmi Faiz was in jubilant mood as he was unveiled at a press conference held in PKNS Sports Complex in Kelana Jaya this afternoon.
" I've been following the progress of PKNS FC since my Harimau Muda days. I've always been a fan of PKNS FC, " he enthused.
When asked on the reason of his return to Malaysia, Nazmi was adamant that he made a conscious and right decision for his footballing future.
" I made the decision to return (to Malaysia) after discussing with both of my parents and my agent (Marco Guimaraes). This move is good for my future. "
Nazmi went on to add that young local players should make the necessary preparations before signing with a foreign club.
" For me, young players should make a thorough background inspection of a football club before joining them. I enjoyed my time at SC Beira-Mar.
His agent also confirmed that there were several MSL clubs that were interested in securing Nazmi's services but his client chose to join PKNS FC.
PKNS FC President, Noor Hisham Gouth meanwhile confirmed that Nazmi has signed a 3 year contract with the club and an appeal will be made to FAM regarding his eligibility to play in the MSL immediately.
" He has signed a 3 year contract with us and we hope that he'll be available for the match gainst Felda United. We will discuss about his eligibility with the FAM. "
The MSL transfer window will only be opened in April, hence Nazmi Faiz will only join the PKNS FC youth team. Nazmi will wear the number 33 for PKNS FC.
