Glee Creator Ryan Murphy: "F--k You, Kings of Leon"[size=1.1em]

Well, fine, Ryan Murphy doesn't want to use someone like you, either. Nyah-nyah!

The Glee creator, in acknowledging all of the big stars just dying to be on the Golden Globe-winning series or have their music adapted for the show, made a special point of singling out the more reluctant Kings of Leon in a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter.

"F--k you, Kings of Leon," Murphy said. "They're self-centered black holes and they missed the big picture."

And it doesn't get any bigger than Glee, apparently...

"They missed that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song," Murphy continued, "which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument. It's like, OK, hate on arts education. You can make fun of Glee all you want, but at its heart, what we really do is turn kids on to music."

Meanwhile, Kings frontman Caleb Followill says he certainly didn't mean to be the Sue Sylvester of rock.

"This whole Glee thing is a shock to us," he told THR in response to Murphy's diatribe. "It's gotten out of hand. At the time of the request, we hadn't even seen the show. It came at the end of that record cycle, and we were over promoting ["Use Somebody"]. This was never meant as a slap in the face toGlee or to music education or to fans of the show. We're not sure where the anger is coming from."

What Followill said last summer, after the band was approached about licensing "Use Somebody," was that "apparently everybody loves [Glee]," but no can do. He also made a comment about selling out, but by then he was talking about turning down an offer for a movie trailer, and then saying no toUgly Betty.

"Usually I find that people who make those comments, their careers are over; they're uneducated and quite stupid," Murphy said, this time referring to Slash, who, unlike Followill, actually did make a crack about Glee, calling it "worse than Grease" as far as licensing went.

Murphy will just have to console himself with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Anne Hathaway,Jennifer Lopez and the other stars who do want to be a part of Glee.

Like all tv shows, Glee will also experience its ups and downs..
Harap2 pakcik Ryan tak berlagak sangat...
Glee memang best...
tapi takkan best selama-lamanya...
Sydah2 la dah orang tanak bagi lagu...

memang la glee ni meletup betul, but bukan sume orang minat or addicted kat show ni..punye la banyak artist duk offer nak join, pilih je la,yang pakcik nak angin sangat KOL tak nak join kenape??hormon tak stabil ape sampai nak kecoh macam tu

but if slash and gnr join glee la,tak dapat dibayangkan

Masa awal2 dulu, the storyline dia best...
Lagu2 pun kena dengan cerita...
Now they accomodate the STORYLINE to suit the SONGS....
It's like they're putting the songs first before the story...
Memang la makin lama makin hampeh...
Besides, sekarang ni suka sangat buat tribute episodes..
Episod Lady Gaga la, episod Madonna la, Britney la....
Tak best la...
