Dua pelancong wanita Jepun terjentik hati mendalami Islam selepas dipelawa menyaksikan Majlis Saringan Tilawah al-Quran peringkat Wilayah Persekutuan, di Masjid Negara, baru-baru ini.


Mereka juga melafaz syahadah sebelum kembali ke Tokyo


Dua beranak itu dikenali sebagai Miwa, 49 dan anaknya, Suzuka, 23, tertarik untuk memeluk Islam selepas mendapat penjelasan mengenai agama Allah ini daripada seorang peserta tilawah, Nor Asikin Othman, 57.

Nor Asikin bertemu dua beranak itu ketika datang pada hari kedua majlis saringan itu kerana mahu mempelajari lebih mendalam berkenaan bacaan al-Quran daripada peserta lain selepas gagal ke pusingan seterusnya pada hari pertama.


"Ketika waktu rehat, saya keluar sekejap dari dewan dan ternampak dua beranak dari Tokyo di luar pekarangan masjid dalam keadaan berpeluh akibat kepanasan.


"Saya menjemput mereka masuk selepas mendapat keizinan daripada seorang ustazah di situ.


"Saya terus membawa mereka ke dewan Majlis Saringan Tilawah al-Quran dan mereka sangat kagum dengan bacaan yang dialunkan oleh seorang peserta.


"Melihatkan mereka begitu berminat dalam ajaran Islam, saya membawa mereka melawat kawasan masjid dan dapat dilihat dengan jelas yang mereka sangat tertarik.


"Saya kemudian memberikan mereka risalah berkenaan ajaran Islam yang terdapat di masjid," katanya.


Nor Asikin turut berkongsi mengenai keindahan ajaran Islam, termasuk memberitahu mereka mengenai kepercayaan dan cara solat.


"Ketika bercerita kepada mereka mengenai Islam, terdetik di hati saya untuk menarik mereka memeluk Islam.


"Apa yang membuatkan saya lebih yakin yang mereka begitu minat dengan Islam adalah apabila Miwa turut bertanyakan pada saya mengenai masjid di Tokyo untuk dia mendalami Islam.


"Ketika itu, saya memang yakin mereka sudah tertarik dengan Islam. Saya mengajar mereka mengucap dua kalimah syahadah dalam bahasa yang mudah," katanya yang menangis kegembiraan selepas itu.


Nor Asikin berkata, kedua-dua beranak yang fasih berbahasa Inggeris itu dilihat sangat gembira selepas beliau memberitahu mereka sudah memeluk Islam dan suci bagaikan seorang bayi baru dilahirkan selepas melafazkan syahadah.


Mereka kemudiannya bertukar nombor telefon untuk beliau membantu ibu dan anak itu mendalami Islam.


"Saya minta mereka hubungi jika ada sebarang persoalan dalam ajaran ini. Mereka ada hubungi saya menerusi WhatsApp dan mengucapkan terima kasih kepada saya kerana memperkenalkan mereka dengan ajaran Islam serta bersyukur kami dipertemukan," katanya.


Nor Asikin yang menetap di Setiawangsa, di ibu kota berharap, dua beranak itu terus istiqamah dengan ajaran Islam kerana sebelum itu mereka mengakui tiada sebarang kepercayaan dan agama.


"Saya percaya mereka berdua mempunyai kesungguhan untuk terus mendalami Islam selepas ini dan percaya mereka mampu menjadi Muslimah yang baik suatu hari nanti," katanya.


Nor Asikin yang pernah mengunjungi negara matahari terbit itu berharap dua beranak itu akan bertemu dengan komuniti Islam di Tokyo, yang akan terus membimbing mereka.
