Showing off an extra-curvy figure, mom-to-be Mariah Carey hit thestage in Fayetteville, Ark. on Friday to sing for Wal-Martshareholders.
It's the first time the diva has stepped out in public since a pal confirmed to Us that Carey is expecting.
Although Carey has yet to make a public announcement, she is "in theearly stage of pregnancy," waiting until after the first trimester toshare the big news, the pal says in the new Us Weekly.
Even her husband of two years Nick Cannon accidentally gushed about the pregnancy when chatting with fans in Malibu May 30.
"Her bump is bigger. You can almost see it now...I'm very excited!"
Cannon, 29, later retreated a bit. "If & when my wife is readyto make ANY announcements about private matters she will do itpersonally," he wrote on Twitter.
The next morning, on his radio show, he added, "I'm pretty sure thatwhen my wife is ready to make any announcement it won't be to themedia, to the public, first," he said.
"She'll tell herfamily, she'll tell her friends, and then, you know, when she's readyto share with the rest of the world, who is her extended family andfriends, then she'll let everybody know."

Three times a charm for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon!
The musical couple will be tying the knot for the third time on April 30, which is also their two-year wedding anniversary.
"We get married every year! That's our thing," Cannon explained atMonday's PepsiCo Feed America Volunteer Day event in NYC."So it's goingto be our third wedding this year. That's what we'll be doing on theactual [anniversary]...We'll do something...A party or event, just tocelebrate."
Cannon says that he’ll be getting his wife yet another diamond ring!"That’s totally right," he said. "This is the third ring I have tobuy...It’ll be something different. Something good." Her engagementring from Jacob & Co. Jewelers cost $2.5 million. "It's nice,"Cannon added. "We like being married every year."

Mariah Carey Confirms Pregnancy

She’s kept mum for months regarding her pregnancy, and now Mariah Carey has confirmed what everyone already knows- she’s preggers.
The “Always Be My Baby” songstress shared the good news during her interview on the “Today” show this morning. “Yes, we are pregnant. This is true.”
Mariah declined to share her due date, and instead focused on how blessed she and hubby Nick Cannon are. “It’s still early… expecting is great. The greatest gift on earth is a child.”
Back in August, Carey was spotted in maternity garb, but refused to acknowledge the rumors. "When the time is right, everyone will know,” she stated. |
