Kaka: I'll be at 100% for the World Cup
Brazil midfielder Kakaclaims that he will be ready for the start of the World Cup, havingstruggled with form and fitness throughout
the season for Real Madrid.
Kaka has struggled for form at Madrid.
Kaka,who cost Madrid £59 million in the summer, endured a groin problem anda thigh injury through parts of the season and failed to play at hisbest. He was the subject of criticism for the length of time it tookhim to get over the injuries, but now maintains he will be in peakcondition for the World Cup.
"I'm going to Sao Paulo to havetests done. There we will see what condition I am in and see that Iwill not have any problem at the World Cup. I'll be at 100% for theWorld Cup," Kaka told AS.
"I had a difficult season butthere have been many cases of players who have had a bad year and thenshine on the World Cup. I'm not worried at all."
Kaka's team-mateLuis Fabiano also returned to Brazil and downplayed the injury which iskeeping him out of Sevilla's Copa del Rey final appearance on Wednesday.
"It'sa minor injury, but I didn't want to risk aggravating it," Fabianosaid. "I won't be fully fit by Friday, but in two weeks I should befine."
