Lee Hyori spices it up for Guess eyewear
Looks like sexy CF queen Lee Hyori has yet another endorsement under her belt!
SewonITC revealed to the media, “Lee Hyori became the model for a new lineof Guess eyewear planning to be launched in Korea this March. LastFebruary, a commercial was filmed at a studio in Kangnam, Seoul.”
Aswe all know, Hyori has a fantastic body and a chic charisma that isshown through her poses as a veteran model. Additionally, this divasinger has perfectly fit the image of a trendy spring look designcharacteristic of Guess wear.
Hyori’s 2010 Guess eyewear commercial can be checked out nationwide at select malls and shopping areas.

Hyori's Comback...Homecoming
NEWS: This is the first time in seven years that both arereleasing albums at the same time and it's raking in a lot of presscoverage!
Maleand female rep singers, Rain and Lee Hyori, respectively, will bereleasing and promoting an album in the same time period.
AfterHyori's announcement of her fourth album's comeback near the end ofMarch, Rain also expressed plans to release a special album in April.These two top singers are releasing their albums within 2 weeks fromeach other! Fans are already excited by this.
It seems likeRain shares the same sentiments as the fans. In an interview conductedFebruary 22nd, Rain said, "I heard that I would be promoting at thesame time as Hyori. It's been 7 years and I'm really excited. All thistime we've been promoting separately."
The last time theyshared a stage together was in 2003, when Hyori's first solo albumrocked the kpop world in the last half of the year. At the same time,Rain released his second album, How to Avoid the Sun. Seeing Rain andHyori at awards ceremonies left a deep impression on fans' hearts.

After repeatedly pushing her comeback date over and over again, Korea’ssex icon Lee Hyori shines a light on the fans as she reveals that heralbum recording has finished.
On a fan cafe, Lee Hyori reportedthat recording for her 4th album had finally finished as she revealed,“Everyone~~Finally after 8 months, recording has finished…Now..it’stime for me to start again. Practice, music video and first liveperformance…I’ll have to work hard ^^”
A representativeconfirmed this saying, “We kept pushing the comeback date so we cancontinue recording. The results are here and we finished recording onthe 1st.”
This comeback has been long anticipated for nearlyhalf a year as fans have been waiting since October. And althoughrecording has finished, there’s still a lot of work to be done. It’sbeen revealed that the title track has not yet been chosen and when itis that they have to choose a style and film the music video.
The rep promised, “Despite the long wait, we promise to do everything to deliver what the fans have been anticipating for.“

Towards my fourth official album....I'm looking forward to it and I'm nervous...
I'mvery satisfied about the music that I like and that I did in thisalbum...Even though it was hard, it is also an album that will makepeople very very happy..
I believe everyone will like it too...

Comeback of the Divas: Lee Hyori & BoA
LeeHyori and BoA will both be releasing a new album in Korea this year.Lee Hyori is the best sexy icon, whereas BoA, who still has a reallystrong Korean fanbase, received recognition from Japanese and Americanfans.
The first to return is Hyori. When she released her thirdalbum back in 2008, people started referring to the "Hyori Effect." Thefourth album has been continuously pushed back since last year, but wefinally have a confirmed release period. Her company expressed that thealbum will be released in March.
BoA also plans to release afull album this year in Korea. This is her first album back from herfive years' departure of the Korean music scene. Her company, SM, said,"We're preparing the album right now. For her return this year, we havebeen collecting songs from various composers."
Since releasingher fifth album and promoting "Girls on Top" back in 2005, she has beenactive in Japan and the United States. This year is also BoA's 10thyear debut anniversary. Since BoA's first album was released on August25 ten years ago, it is estimated that her album will drop sometime inAugust.
Representative female singers like Lee Hyori and BoA'sreturns may signal an end to the girl group and idol group reign of theKorean music scene. Their returns also give solo singers hope. Comingbackwith her 4th album the end of this month, it has been known thattherecording work and the choreography for Lee Hyori’s comeback titlesongare completed.
Muchinterests will be in for how theveteran’s prowess will show amidst thepromotional period for thegirlgroups like So Nyeo Shi Dae, KARA andT-ara.
It isalsorevealed that Lee Hyori will do hiphop for her 4th album. Thetitlesong is an up-tempo dance song. But the level of completeness forthehiphop song is expected to be high. StartingMarch 23, they will be working on the visuals for Hyori's fourth album.The teaser for the fourth album will be filmed March 23, the MV at theend of March and the album will be released in the beginning of April.
Forthe fourth album, Hyori not only participated in the music production:she also took part in MV production and contributed to the MV'sconcept, storyline and props.
The title song's MV will be "fresh" and not only for the ears. The style and concept will reflect her personality as well.

LeeHyori appeared as a guest on the Infinity Challenge special calledInfinity Challenge Crime and Gil as a witness against Yoo Jae Suk.
Theepisode, which took place in a court settings, was about Gil suing YooJae Suk for defamation of character. The whole issue started when YooJae Suk revealed in an earlier episode that Gil peed on public propertylast summer.
Gil,Park Myung Soo and Jung Junha said, “This is clear defamation ofcharacter.” On the other hand, Yoo Jae Suk, Jung Hyun Don and Noh HongChul said, “We only revealed the truth. It’s actually a good thing ifwe build a character for someone in variety shows.”
Now, a trialis not complete without a line of witnesses. This trial included animpressive list of witnesses ranging from Lee Hyori, Gil’s stylist, PDsand more!
Lee Hyori, especially, heated up the court room withher fiery comments attacking Yoo Jae Suk. She said, “He is called thenation’s MC Yoo Jae Suk, but in real life, he doesn’t always speak thetruth.”

Hurt by herbetrayal, Yoo Jae Suk said, “But you continued to work with me in aprogram for one year and eight months because you had confidence in me.Didn’t you?” Lee Hyori replied calmly, “I only did it because I wassigned up for it,” which made the entire court room burst out inlaughter.

Lee Hyori had rejected Yoon Jong Shin over…
Inan upcoming episode of Come to Play on March 1st, Yoon Jong Shinrevealed that he had been firmly rejected by Lee Hyori when he tried tosell her his self-composed songs!
If you didn’t know, YoonJong Shin is a comedian/singer/song writer and had cultivated a goodrelationship with Lee Hyori over the past 2 years, after workingtogether on Family Outing.
During the talk show, Yoon JongShin expressed that he would always take the intiative and offer hisself-composed songs to fellow singers.
There was once when hecomposed a fast tempo song and he felt pretty good about it. Heproceeded to email the song to Lee Hyori, hoping that she would use it.But Lee Hyori firmly rejected the offer, saying she wasn’t pleased.
Thereafter,Yoon Jong Shin continued to offer more than 10 songs for her but Hyorididn’t accept any of them and she took her time to reply to him. Herfinal email left him crushed as she told him firmly to stop sending hersongs!
After Yoon Jong Shin’s relevation, fellow song writer,Kim Hyun Chul expressed that he would bring the singer to the recordingstudio and asked them personally for their opinions before offering itto them, to avoid awkward situations from developing.

Lee Hyori’s New Album “MONOCHROME” Cover Is Revealed
 On May 9, Lee Hyori’s agency B2M Entertainment released the official cover image of Lee Hyori’s fifth album via their social networking sites. Titled “MONOCHROME,” this new album has been receiving huge amount of attention and curiosity from the fans even before its official release. Soon after the release of the song “Miss Korea” on May 6, it achieved an all-kill status on various music charts. As of May 8, it still ranks top on numerous charts including Melon, Mnet, Naver, Daum, andCyworld. A black-and-white photo was chosen for the jacket cover. The makeup, accessory, and hairstyle look very similar to the style that appeared on the MV for “Miss Korea.” Meanwhile, “MONOCHROME” will be released on May 21 and will be available for pre-sale starting on May 9 in two versions; special limited edition and normal regular edition.
Love the album and MV! there's so much variety and quality tracks on it.

On May 7, B2M Entertainment revealed that Lee Hyori will be making a comeback through a special program on Mnet. The show will be aired on May 22, starting up her official promotions for her new album.
The details of what will be included in this comeback show are still being discussed, but will most likely include songs mainly from her new fifth album.
Meanwhile, Lee Hyori pre-released Miss Korea on May 6. The song was composed and written by Lee Hyori herself and has been topping all the online music charts in Korea.
