Naza to be Piaggio's bike hub for Asia

Sources have confirmed that Naza will be the official dealer for Piaggio.
Piaggio,the biggest European motorcycle producer has a few brands under itsbelt, namely Vespa, Aprilia, Derbi, Gilera and Moto Guzzi.
It seems that Naza has a big plan for Piaggio.

"Instead of just being a dealer, Naza will work together with Piaggio," our source explained.

Partof it will include assembling some of the models here. Piaggio has manymodels which can suit our highly taxed atmosphere.

Vespa has many small range models, and Aprilia, Derbi and Gilera have motorcycles and scooters below 250cc.
"Naza is also looking at the other side of the scale - lifestyle bikers," the source added.

Currently,Naza has three motorcycle ventures which are doing extremely well - theJapanese grey import bikes, Harley Davidson and Ducati.

NazaBikers Dream is one of the best re-cond bike centre in the country.With the help from its own credit house, sales have maintained at asteady rate. Experienced staffers also help to boost its name.

Theorder books for Harley and Ducati have always been overbooked, a goodproblem but might hamper sales due to the long waiting list.

As for the Piaggio brands of motorcycles, Aprilia was handled by Moto Millia while Gilera and Vespa were under Ritz Marketing.

Piaggio has its office in Singapore and has long to be a serious player  in Malaysian market.

Dari satu perspektif lain, aku rasa NAZA cuba bolot banyak2 brand, bubuh under satu center sebelum AP dimansuhkan. Demi utk survival business dia jugak.
