Dear Mod,

May I humbly suggest we have one thread to discuss/compile anything about science, or the Miracles of Science to be exact. Things like phenomenon, discovery, etc as to further inculcate or nurture us to be innovative and creates more breakthrough in any field.

watched mythbusters jz now. it really proven that elephants are afraid of mice. for something that big fearing something that small, it really a wonder of nature.

i was always wondering, if genetic engineering would be considered as miracle of science, but in the same time, it crossed the border of morality. even non-muslim also considered genetic engineering passed way from the border of morality. things like cloning, genetic alteration and many other thing might be very useful for human kind in the future. I may not know much bout science, but i do enjoy science.

Paper Newton, Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy (Prinsip Matematik bagi Falsafah Semula Jadi), sbnrnye buknlah ditulis untuk menjadi perintis kpd bidang fizik seperti yg anda mungkin bayangkan.

Seperti yg tertulis kt tajuk die, paper tu sbnrnye nk sampaikan falsafah semulajadi dlm bentuk matematik. Klu tgk zmn dulu, persoalan kenapa bola jatuh ke bawah tu termasuk dlm bidang falsafah. Pernah ade sorg ahli falsafah yg cube buat the laws of nature. Die kte, objek akan pergi ke tempat asalnye. Tempat asal bola adalah tanah, so die jatuh ke tanah. (Don't laugh at him, he made a good try... After all, he didn't know about gravitation)

Namun, plato (klu x silap) kte laws of nature mesti dlm bentuk persamaan matematik. Kepler dh buktikan, yg pergerakan planet boleh diwakili oleh persamaan matematik. So Newton, seorang ahli falsafah yg berIQ tgi n minat math pun tertarik n cube gubal the laws of nature gune math.

So die cipte calculus. Then die formulate laws of gravitation n motion... Since persamaan die mematuhi semua observation, jelas sekali bahasa matematik adalah bahasa alam semula jadi. So die bg la nme buku die Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy.

Nampaknye, bidang falsafah semula jadi dlm bentuk math ni sangatlah luas, seluas2nya sehinggakan die xleh masuk bwh bidang falsafah itu sendiri... Lagipun, bende ni makin lme makin teknikal n dipenuhi ngan persamaan math. Maka lahirlah bidang sains yg anda kenali sebagai... FIZIK....

psl tu, kebanyakan ahli fizik juga adalah ahli falsafah...

sekian dr sye, klu slh tlg betulkan...

yes, macamana universe boleh diterangkan oleh matematik, adalah suatu miracle....

namun kekadang aku berharap agar sesetengah perkara biarlah tidak boleh diterangkan dgn matematik, agar geng2 atheist/sciemtology kembali mempercayai Tuhan....

kerana aku heran la, walau bagaimana dahsyat sesuatu fenomena tu, asalkan dapat ditafsir melalui matematik, maka mereka mula berfikir Tuhan tak hebat....
hanya kerana sesuatu fenomena dapat dipelajari dan dirumus dalam math, maka mereka mula tidak percaya kepada Tuhan....pelik....

peliklah....
mereka bukan mencipta rumus, tetapi hanya menjumpai rumus yg telah ada....

ooo...back to the topic, aku ada sesuatu yg terlintas dalam otak aku pasal miracle in science ni, nanti aku bawak....

i love everything bout science, when u see science in action, then you'll know how almighty God is. too bad im not good in studying...

there are things that even science cannot prove. that's where religion comes in handy. there would be scientists who tried to prove the impossible, until their death!
