Rooney questioned Man Utd's Ferguson during rant
tribalfootball.com - March 10, 2008
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson steamed into his players after their FA Cup defeat to Portsmouth, it has been revealed.
The Daily Mail says the United manager laid into his players in the aftermath of the defeat and then ordered them in for an extra day's work.
As part of the exchange, it is also understood that United's England striker Wayne Rooney refuted his manager's suggestions that the whole side had let themselves down and suggested that some of his team-mates had been more culpable than others. |

Man Utd legend returns ?
h
Former players such as Pat Crerand, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Brian Kidd, Jim Ryan and Brian McLair have all either gone from playing to coaching or done other jobs for the club. Now another former legend is ready for a return to the club
The Sun reports today that Bryan Robson, who was recently sacked from his manager job at Sheffield United, is ready to return to Man Utd. He is lined up for a job as Man Utd ambassador.
Robson was, after moving to Middlesbrough as player manager, tipped to become a Man Utd manager in the future. After struggling in the trade of management at Middlesbrough, Bradford, WBA and Sheffield United it is not likely that the former Man Utd captain will ever get the chance to be manager at Old Trafford. |

tribalfooball.com - March 11, 2008
Fluminense president Roberto Horcades has revealed they've discussed their players with Manchester United.
Horcades revealed both United and AC Milan had been in contact: "We talked about Thiago Neves, but he was just one of six players, including Dodo, Washington and Cicero. But we talked about all our good players, there was no offer, nor will there be. Fluminense will not be selling anyone at the moment." |

"He's had a fantastic career and was a wonderful player for us," the United boss told Manchester United Radio. "He's an excellent footballer with a superb footballing brain, and you can't underestimate how important those goals in '99 were.
