Apabila melihat lubang-lubang yang terbesar di dunia ni membuatkan kita rasa kagum yang teramat....

1. Kimberley south hole kat afrika selatan.

"apparently the largest ever hand-dug excavation in the world, this 1097 metre deep mine yielded over 3 tonnes of diamonds before being closed in 1914.
the amount of earth removed by workers is estimated to total 22.5 million tonnes"

2. Glory hole - monticello dam.

"a glory hole is used when a dam is at full capacity and water needs to be drained from the resevoir"

3. Bingham Canyon Mine, Utah

"this is supposedly the largest man-made excavation on earth. extraction began in 1863 and still continues today, the pit increasing in size constantly. in its current state the hole is 3/4 mile deep and 2..5 miles wide"

5. Diavik Mine - Northern Canada

This impressive sight is Diavik Mine in Northern Canada about 300 km from Yellowknife. The mine is so huge and so remote that it has its own airport that can accommodate a Boeing 737.

Because of its location, the mine is completely surrounded by ice in the wintertime making it appear that this extraordinary hole is on land and not on the sea.

6. Guetamala Sink hole

Guatemala Sinkhole which was formed suddenly in 2007 when water saturated the ground causing it to collapse in a terrible calamity which killed three people and destroyed a dozen homes.
