Tamaki, Ayase star in "Deer Man" drama

Fuji TV has announced a new drama series titled "Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi," starring Hiroshi Tamaki and Haruka Ayase.
The bizarre comedy is based on a novel of the same name by Manabu Makime, which was nominated for a Naoki Prize this past summer. Tamaki plays a good-for-nothing teacher who gets assigned to a girls' high school in Nara. He becomes a "deer man," working to prevent the downfall of Japan under the orders of the deer of Nara Park.
Ayase plays his partner, a teacher in the social studies department that is a "history otaku." In the original story, her character was a man, married with children.
Fuji TV will begin filming in mid-December. The show will air on Thursdays at 10:00pm, starting in January. |

The press conference for Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi was held today. Main cast members, Tamaki Hiroshi, Ayase Haruka, Kodama Kiyoshi, Tabe Mikako, Sasaki Kuranosuke and Shibamoto Yuki, were present at the event. Tamaki said, "It's a drama that's difficult to explain but please follow it because it is very interesting."
Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi is a fantasy novel that was published in 2007 and was even a nominee for the Naoki Prize. Tamaki plays the protagonist, Ogawa Takanobu, who becomes a temporary science teacher at a high school for girls in Nara because he was forced out of his university for interpersonal difficulties, and finds himself troubled by individualistic teachers and insolent students. However, he is suddenly entrusted with an important mission by talking deer and starts striving hard.
The drama starts airing every Thursday from 17 January at 10.00 p.m. The first episode will be an extra 15 mins long.

bz berlakon kot...pas NC SP trus shooting dorama ni, pastu kena ulang alik ke set Atsu-Hime lagi...dahle taiga dorama yg satu tu year-long punya dorama... |
