Baru tengok trailer citer Speed Racer. Aduilar, ala2 "menyeramkan" jer end product citer nih. Aku rasa mainan happy meal kat McDonald nampak lebih menarik dari citer nih. Pada aku cam terlalu colorful, and that classic Speed Racer feel tu dah takde. Kalau ler aku jadi director film ni (echeh, prasan jap eh), aku akan buat citer ni cam period drama, siap washout color, classic vehicle.
Ini dah macam Fast and Furious on crack jer aku tengok.

Christina Ricci gears up for "Speed Racer"
Saturday April 14 1:03 PM ET
Christina Ricci is joining "Matrix" creators Larry and Andy Wachowski's live-action adaptation of the 1960s cartoon "Speed Racer."
Emile Hirsch, Susan Sarandon and John Goodman already have boarded the high-octane Warner Bros. project, which is based on the anime series created by Tatsuo Yoshida for Japanese audiences and later imported to the U.S.
"Speed" centers on a young race car driver, Speed (Hirsch), and his quest for glory in his thundering, gadget-laden vehicle Mach 5. Ricci will star as Speed's girlfriend Trixie, his formidable ally on and off the track.

The show revolved around Speed's family. In the big-screen adaptation, Goodman will play Pops, a race car owner and builder. Sarandon is on board as Pops' wife, the backbone of the family as well as the Mach 5 Go Racing Team.
The Wachowskis, who are writing and directing, are eyeing a summer shoot in Berlin with a summer 2008 release.
The casting is a change in direction for Ricci, who has tended to star in such indie-oriented fare as "Monster," "Penelope" and the recent "Black Snake Moan." She also appeared on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," a turn that earned her an Emmy nomination last year.

GOD Member Stars in US Film 'Speed Racer'
2007-12-14
The newly released trailer of the Hollywood film 'Speed Racer' in which singer Park Jun-hyeong appears is generating significant buzz.
In the trailer, the former GOD member displays an image miles apart from his previous friendly persona. For the film, he dyed his hair white and sported a tattoo on his back.
His management agency JYP Entertainment said, "Speed Racer marks the start of Park's Hollywood acting career. After shooting the film, he has lived in LA and received several film casting calls."
Set to open in May, the film, based on the animation series 'Maha Go Go Go,' is being produced by the Wachowski brothers of 'The Matrix.'
The plot revolves around young people involved in the risky sport of car racing.
One of the first great lenticular posters that I can remember was for The Nightmare Before Christmas in 1993. Since then a wide range of great lenticular (or visually 3D) posters have been released for everything from Jurassic Park: The Lost World to Spider-Man 3. Although lenticular posters aren't anything new, they still manage to capture the attention of passerby's and even amaze film fanatics, that is, if they're well designed. Today I stumbled across the newest one from the Wachowski's, a lenticular poster for their upcoming Speed Racer movie. A trailer for the movie just debuted last week and now a week later the first poster has been discovered, too. This was up on display at my local movie theater (where I went down to watch the The Dark Knight IMAX short for the second time) and looks pretty incredible in person. The helmet under his arm pops outwards towards you, whereas the car is set in the background but is also 3D. The look when you pass by is actually very cool.
